Another Billionaire Celebrity Getting Married This Summer Has a Ring Larger and More Expensive Than Taylor Swift’s Rock
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift almost broke the internet when they announced their engagement in August 2025. And since that day, Swifties around the world have been speculating over every detail about the couple’s upcoming wedding, from what designer the bride will wear to the location of their ceremony to the date their nuptials will take place.
The one thing almost certain is that they are having a summer wedding before Kelce begins the new NFL season. But while Swift’s upcoming wedding is the most-talked-about of the year, she’s not the only star tying the knot this summer. Another global superstar is as well. His fiancée is rocking an engagement ring that trumps the cost of Swift’s, and may throw an even grander affair than what the pop icon and football player have planned.
Just a couple of weeks before Swift and Kelce announced their happy news, soccer megastar Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, shared that they were engaged.
They are also set to have a summer wedding as the couple stated that they are specifically waiting to say “I do” until after the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup.
Neil Dutta, managing director and jewelry expert at the U.K. retailer Angelic Diamonds, shared several details, including the cost of the ladies’ stunning rings.
Commenting on the ring Kelce gave Swift, Dutta said, “Taylor’s ring looks to be an Old Mine Brilliant cut diamond set in yellow gold with a bezel mount. This antique-inspired style is very on trend right now, and the choice of yellow gold gives the ring a warm, romantic feel that suits her perfectly. From the images, the diamond appears to be in the 7 to 10 carat range, which I would value it at approximately $1.5 million.
