Anthony Edwards is, by far, at the top of his game on the court. The 24-year-old star has had a successful season and is still considered a rising star. While his on-the-court focus is unmatched, his off-the-court legal drama is less than ideal. Edwards is currently battling the mother of his daughter over child support. The court battle has made his monthly income public knowledge, and everyone is shocked by just how much he takes home at the end of the month.

Anthony Edwards is dealing with two child support claims

Despite posting career highs and enjoying a successful NBA season, things off the court have been considerably more complicated. Anthony Edwards is embroiled in a child support battle that appears to be getting more complicated by the day. Edwards shares children with at least three different women, including Jeanine Robel, Alexandria Desroches, and Ayesha Howard. Howard, in particular, has taken issue with how Edwards’ support payments have been calculated.

According to several outlets, Edwards and Howard have been battling over his financial obligation to his daughter, Aubri, who was born in October 2024. Paternity has been established, but Howard is seeking a ruling in California, claiming the NBA star has been concealing assets in the state, including a business and a Beverly Hills bank account. Howard is reportedly seeking a child support order in that state, despite Edwards residing in Georgia.

Edwards’ legal team has asked a judge to toss out the filing, claiming Howard only filed in California because of its advantageous child support rulings. His team argues that the state calculates child support at a higher rate than Georgia, which could mean a bigger order for Edwards. A final decision has not been made, but Anthony Edwards’ income has been made public.

Anthony Edwards’ monthly salary revealed

Anthony Edwards is just 24 years old, but he’s making more money than most people will ever dream of. The star Timberwolves guard signed a five-year contract extension worth $244,623,120. The contract is fully guaranteed, ensuring he sees every single cent. While his earnings are spread across five years, his base salary for the 2025-2026 season is a staggering $45.5 million.  Edwards’ legal team confirmed that he is earning over $3 million a month in recent court filings. The documents, obtained by TMZ, reveal that he takes home about $3.3 million in gross pay each month.

While Edwards is cashing a pretty hefty paycheck, he’s not the highest-paid NBA star. He isn’t even in the top 10. The distinction of top NBA earner goes to Stephen Curry, who earned nearly $60 million for the 2025-2026 season. Joel Embiid cashed a season-long paycheck worth over $55 million, as did Nikola Jokic.
