Bachelor in Paradise officially returns in 2025 for season 10, and Wells Adams will return as the quick-witted, charming bartender. Adams plays a pivotal role in the series. Not only does he sling drinks for the contestants, but he listens to their dating woes and offers important advice that can make or break their time on the beach.

While Adams loves his reality TV job, he’ll miss his wife, Sarah Hyland, while he films. On April 30, 2025, Adams posted a selfie to his Instagram Stories of himself and Hyland smiling. “Off to Paradise, going to miss her,” Adams captioned the post with a sad-eyed emoji. He then tagged Hyland. Hyland reposted the selfie to her Instagram Stories with several crying emojis.

Hyland and Adams’ relationship began with a playful exchange on social media. In 2016, Hyland admired Adams during his appearance on The Bachelorette. Adams slid into her DMs, and the two quickly bonded over their shared love of tacos. Their first in-person meeting occurred at a pre-Emmys party in September 2017, just days before Hyland underwent her second kidney transplant. Despite the challenging timing, their connection deepened, with Hyland later sharing that their relationship grew stronger as Adams supported her through her recovery.

The couple got engaged in July 2019 during a romantic proposal in Fiji and tied the knot in August 2022. Since their wedding, Hyland and Adams have continued to share their journey with fans, celebrating milestones and supporting each other’s careers.

Wells Adams is happily married to Sarah Hyland, which means the women on Bachelor in Paradise have zero chance of wooing him. “Don’t try it!” he playfully said while flashing his wedding ring during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “Sarah Hyland will slit your throat in your sleep.”

Adams opened up about how his marriage to Hyland has helped him be a better bartender on the reality series. “I have been with Sarah for the majority of these seasons in this show,” he continued. “And so I can, I think, talk about love and what it’s supposed to look like, and what it’s supposed to feel like, to people searching for that. I think it gives me a little bit of credence to tell them what I think that they should be looking for, and things that they should see as red flags, and maybe move on.”

‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 10 also features Hannah Brown in the Champagne Lounge

Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 has an additional bartender aside from Wells Adams. While Adams will reprise his role, The Bachelorette star Hannah Brown is also hitting the beach as a staff member in the new Champagne Lounge.

“I think of myself as Paradise Relations,” Hannah told Us Weekly in April 2025. “I am there to make sure that whatever people need, whatever the experience that they’re supposed to have, I’m going to be there.”

Brown will take on a similar role as Adams with the contestants, as she’ll help them navigate the complicated romances that happen in Paradise.

“People need help setting up a magical moment with the person that they’re falling in love with? I’m your girl,” she continued. “If you need some advice on how to express your interest in someone, come to me.”

Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 premieres on Monday, July 7, 2025, on ABC.
