North West and Blue Ivy Carter, 13, two of Hollywood’s most high-profile kids, have faced ongoing criticism from the public and media. Both girls, known for their celebrity parents — Kim Kardashian and Kanye “Ye” West for North, Beyoncé and Jay-Z for Blue Ivy — faced scrutiny for stepping into the spotlight at young ages. North has drawn attention for her bold style and public performances. Meanwhile, Blue Ivy is frequently discussed for her early involvement in music and high-profile appearances. Despite this, both girls’ parents have defended their children.

Bethenny Frankel of The Real Housewives of New York City fame came to the defense of the two young girls. In a TikTok with the text “Thoughts on North West” over it, Frankel addressed the criticism over North’s clothing.

“I don’t believe at all in people criticizing people’s children,” Frankel expressed. “I don’t care whose children they are; I don’t care what they’re wearing. I didn’t like it when they did it with Blue Ivy; I didn’t like it when they did it with Housewives; I don’t like it when they do it with my own child. Kids are off-limits.”

Frankel went on to discuss one of North’s recent controversial outfits. And she went on to explain that North will likely always look over-the-top compared to other kids due to her parents.

“She’s Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s child. It’s a pretty extraordinary parenting structure,” Frankel continued. “… So, I don’t know that you would expect Kim and Kanye’s child to wear ordinary clothing. Believe me, if they shopped at TJ Maxx, you’d be criticizing that.”
