Beyoncé Joins List of Celebrity Billionaires
Beyoncé has joined a very exclusive club. The pop icon is now a billionaire, Forbes has confirmed.
Queen Bey amassed her $1 billion fortune thanks to a string of chart-topping hits, a popular concert film, and lucrative deals with brands like Levi’s. But it was her sold out Cowboy Carter tour – this highest grossing concert tour of 2025 – that helped her rise to billionaire status. The 44-year-old is also a savvy businesswoman. Her company, Parkwood Entertainment, manages nearly every aspect of her career, allowing her to pocket more of the millions she rakes in every year.
Jay-Z, Taylor Swift also on the list of celebrity billionaires
Beyoncé is among the elite cadre of celebrities with a net worth in the 10 figures. And she’s the only one who shares the same status as her spouse. Jay-Z has been on the Forbes billionaire list since 2019. The rapper and businessman now has an estimated net worth of $2.5 billion.
What other celebrities have become billionaires? The list includes:
- Steven Spielberg ($5.3 billion)
- George Lucas ($4.7 billion)
- Michael Jordan ($3.5 billion)
- Oprah Winfrey ($3 billion)
- Vincent McMahon ($3 billion)
- Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson ($1.6 billion)
- Kim Kardashian ($1.7 billion)
- Taylor Swift ($1.6 billion)
- Magic Johnson ($1.5 billion)
- Director and producer Tyler Perry ($1.4 billion)
- Rihanna ($1.4 billion)
- Tiger Woods ($1.3 billion)
- J.K. Rowling ($1.2 billion)
- Lebron James ($1.2 billion)
- Bruce Springsteen ($1.2 billion)
- Law & Order producer Dick Wolf ($1.2 billion)
- Arnold Schwarzenegger ($1.1 billion)
- Jerry Seinfeld ($1.1 billion)
Former celebrity billionaires include Kanye West, Kylie Jenner
Some former billionaires have fallen off the Forbes list, including Kanye West. After a string of controversies, Forbes now estimates that the rapper is worth about $400 million. But he’s disputed that figure, claiming earlier in 2025 that he is once again a billionaire.
J.K. Rowling has dropped off the Forbes’ billionaire ranking in the past after giving away a significant chunk of her money. But the Harry Potter author made it back on the list in 2025.
Kylie Jenner made headlines when Forbes declared her a billionaire in 2019. But a year later, she was knocked off the list. The magazine declared she was never really a billionaire and accused her of faking her net worth through fraudulent tax returns.
What stars could make it onto the billionaire list in the future? Top contenders include Selena Gomez, due to her lucrative acting career and her Rare Beauty cosmetics line, noted the Los Angeles Business Journal. Hailey Bieber might also earn billionaire status thanks to her Rhode beauty brand, which she recently sold to E.L.F. Beauty.
