Fans love seeing Beyoncé’s kids in the limelight. In March 2026, Beyoncé spoke to Women’s Wear Daily about her haircare line, Cécred — and she verified that she tried the products on her daughters, Rumi, 8, and Blue Ivy Carter, 14.

“We have put each one of these to the test, and I use it on my daughters before everything: blow dry, silk press, braid-out,” Beyoncé told the publication. “We tested the mousse on my big Texas blowout all the way back in 2024 for the Super Bowl.”

Cécred was developed over several years as a science-backed yet deeply personal venture rooted in Beyoncé’s upbringing in her mother’s salon. The brand launched with an eight-product “Foundation Collection.” The products are designed to cleanse, condition, and repair hair across all textures. Ingredients like butters, oils, honey, and fermented rice water work to strengthen and moisturize strands. What sets Cécred apart is its blend of traditional hair rituals and advanced technology, including a proprietary bioactive keratin ferment that mimics natural hair proteins to help restore damage from heat and styling.

“A lot of these products were designed from a desire to solve my own issues with my hair while on tour,” the star explained. “I don’t use relaxers, so I’m very big on protecting the hair from heat damage when I style. Tour weather is unpredictable. Pouring rain, crazy humidity, some shows in 100-degree weather. I’m drenched in sweat, and those styles must make it through a three-hour show. I wasn’t finding stylers that could perform at the necessary level without affecting my hair health.”

Beyoncé wants her kids to maintain their privacy

At 14 years old, Blue Ivy Carter is coming into her own. And fans know the teen for her incredible dance moves on the “Cowboy Carter” tour. While Blue is in the limelight, Beyoncé previously told GQ that she wants her kids to have “normalcy” and “privacy.” The celebrity wants her twins, Rumi and Sir, to retain a normal childhood.

“One thing I’ve worked extremely hard on is making sure my kids can have as much normalcy and privacy as possible, ensuring my personal life isn’t turned into a brand,” she said. “It’s very easy for celebrities to turn our lives into performance art. I have made an extreme effort to stay true to my boundaries and protect myself and my family. No amount of money is worth my peace.”

That said, Rumi seems to be following in her mother and sister’s footsteps. She joined the stage for the song “Protector.” Fans adored the way that Rumi was waving to the crowd and hugging her famous mom.

Tina Knowles said Rumi Carter wanted to ‘experience’ the stage

In a 2025 interview with ELLE U.K., Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles, said Rumi Carter was eager to get out on stage with her mother.

“You know, their mother keeps their lives normal,” Knowles shared. “And they are just normal kids. They love the stage — they’ve grown up around it. And, you know, Rumi, for the last tour, just every day, said, ‘I want to go out there. I want to.’ She wanted to experience it, too. And so Beyoncé is allowing her to do it this time. And I’m really happy about it, because she has fun out there. She gets to be a kid, and when she gets off stage, she’s right back to being Rumi, the little kid, you know, the little 7-year-old, adorable.”

With this in mind, we can’t wait to see what’s next for Beyoncé’s three kids.
