Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s legal case rages on as the holidays approach in 2025. In November 2025, Lively made headlines after a federal judge formally ended Justin Baldoni’s $400 million countersuit against her, clearing a major obstacle in the actor’s ongoing legal battle. Lively originally filed her lawsuit in December 2024, alleging sexual harassment, retaliation, and a systematic smear campaign by Baldoni and his company during the filming and promotion of It Ends With Us. Currently, Lively and Baldoni are set to head to trial in March 2026.

In the meantime, both Lively and Baldoni have to continue to live their lives as pretrial processes continue. According to photos posted by DailyMail.com, Lively headed to Trader Joe’s ahead of Thanksgiving. She wore a taupe knit cardigan, a white beanie, jeans, and UGG boots for the solo outing. The photos show Lively holding several bags of Trader Joe’s products and speaking to the cashier.

So, what did Lively buy? The publication notes she bought Chili & Lime Flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips, Trader Joe’s Organic Popcorn with Olive Oil, and Scandinavian Swimmers gummy candy, among many other snacks. She also appeared to buy a few containers of fresh pomegranate seeds.

Blake Lively has long described herself as more than just an actress. She’s a bona fide home cook and foodie, with a genuine passion for preparing meals and baking. In a 2009 interview, she admitted she was “addicted to cooking,” telling the press she often prefers staying in, baking, or cooking rather than going out. With this in mind, we’re betting she heads to Trader Joe’s relatively frequently.

“I was raised in a very grounded family that came from the South, and I was never much of a party girl,” she said, according to The Independent. “I’m a very low-key person, so I like to stay at home and bake, or just walk around the city.”

In 2022, Lively gave a glimpse into her home for the holidays. She posted several pies to her Instagram Stories, according to Hello!, one of which included decorative leaf shapes made from leftover pie crust. A beautiful berry crumble also graced the dessert table, as did a lemon meringue pie. “Yumm,” Lively captioned the post.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds share four kids: James, 10; Inez, 9; Betty, 6; and Olin, 2. In 2025, she spoke to Delish about how she always expected to cook one meal for all of her children. However, that expectation has changed.

“I always was like, ‘I’m gonna be the parent that’s gonna make one meal, and you’re gonna get what you get, and they’re gonna love it,'” she said. However, she noted, “They have such different palates. … I’m a restaurant myself where, ‘Oh, I’ll have this, and I’ll take the this.'”

Thankfully, Lively loves to cook and doesn’t mind making different foods for each kid. “Their palates change,” she continued. “They try a lot when they’re little, and then they just wanna go into beige foods. There’s that period. And then they start trying things again. Even my palate changes so much. It’s fun. I love cooking.”
