Body Language Expert Unpacks ‘Love Is Blind’ Couple Jordan and Amber’s Wedding Day
Amber Morrison and Jordan Faeth quickly became one of Love Is Blind Season 10’s most talked-about couples. They formed a deep connection in the pods despite an early obstacle. Jordan had initially said dating someone with children was a deal-breaker, only to fall for Amber, a single mother to a young daughter. Their relationship faced several emotional tests once filming moved into the real world. Still, the pair surprised viewers by saying “I do” at the altar in the finale. So, will the couple make it beyond the show? Here’s what a body language expert noticed.
A body language expert noticed how Jordan Faeth appeared in ‘full panic mode’ ahead of his wedding to Amber Morrison in ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 10
Jordan Faeth and Amber Morrison are one of the most compelling couples on Love Is Blind Season 10. And they surprised fans with their marriage. Celebrity body language expert and Tarot reader Inbaal Honigman spoke on behalf of Casino.ca regarding what she noticed about Jordan and Amber before their wedding.
“Ahead of the wedding, when Jordan meets with his family, he admits to being nervous, and his hand wringing and shaking feet certainly support that,” Honigman noted. “But he also appears to be increasingly sad.”
“His downwards gazes grow longer, and his downturned lips are deeper, as he sits, breathing deeply, he tries to calm himself,” she continued. “He cuts a lonely figure when his family leaves, and his sad facial expression betrays his negative thoughts. He imagines the worst.” Honigman added that Jordan appears in “full panic mode” by the time his car pulls in.
“In the car, he’s still considering whether the wedding is still going to happen at all,” she noticed. “Tapping his hand on his knee restlessly before opening the door, it’s fair to say that Jordan is anxious and fearful.”
While Jordan laughs when he sees his sister, his red eyes reveal his “stormy emotional state. He’s worried, upset, and going over all the worst scenarios in his mind.”
As for Amber, she also appears nervous, according to Honigman. “Her smile is tense, her lips stretch tightly, which indicates that she’s also still unsure how the day will go. She’s soothing her emotions using human touch by hugging her daughter and aunt.”
“When Amber’s brother says that he doesn’t expect it to go through, Amber is furious,” she continued. “Her jaw is set, and her eyes grow larger with determination. She wants to prove her brother wrong.”
The expert says Jordan looked ‘unbelievably nervous’ during the wedding ceremony
Celebrity body language expert Inbaal Honigman took note of Jordan and Amber’s subtle cues during their wedding. She noted how Jordan starts the wedding appearing “unbelievably nervous.” However, once he sees Amber, “his whole mood changes. He smiles at her, his bright signature smile, which narrows his eyes and lights up his face. It’s a genuine smile, and the biggest clue is the nod.”
“As Amber approaches him, Jordan’s head goes up and down subtly again, and again,” Honigman noted. “Nodding, he says ‘yes’ before he’s even said yes. Amber is not a quarter of the way down the aisle, and Jordan has decided. It’s a yes.” And Amber can sense Jordan’s ‘yes,’ as she doesn’t pause before walking into his arms.
“Against all odds, this couple has forged a real bond of love, and he embraces her warmly and happily,” Honigman said.
“Amber pushes her shoulders into Jordan’s chest, curling herself into the hug, as if asking her to encircle her completely. In her real life, Amber is a mother and a career lady, mature and decisive. In Jordan’s arms, she gets to be protected, curling up into his embrace and smiling.”
Honigman added that while the couple’s bond “might be a little uneven at times,” they still want to “go ahead” and wed.
“When they hold hands and lock eyes, Jordan feels proud to be with Amber,” she continued. “His chin is raised, showing how proud he feels. Jordan strokes Amber’s wrist, letting her know that he’ll keep her safe. As long as they were apart, Jordan was focusing on soothing himself using big breaths. Now that they are standing together, Jordan’s focus has shifted to soothing Amber; she is his priority.”
When Amber looks directly at Jordan, the expert noticed how she appears “restrained” and “controlled,” “as if she’s stopping herself from feeling all the emotions.” However, when Jordan speaks to her, “her smile changes into a crinkled-nose smile, which is a more childlike expression. She feels safe when she’s with him, and her inner child can come out to play.”
While Jordan exhibits anxiety during the wedding, it’s not because he doesn’t want to marry Amber. Honigman noticed that he wasn’t sure that Amber “would say yes.”
“The big guy is afraid, and his body is shaking like a leaf as he imagines the devastation that he would feel if she chooses to walk away,” the expert added.
“Amber looks downwards, her face momentarily expressionless. She could go either way, and then she nods to herself and makes a decision. She says I do.” Once Amber fully chooses Jason, his doubts seem to disappear.
“There are no signs of uncertainty — he doesn’t look away from Amber or break eye contact,” the expert noted.
“When he says I do, that second time, Jordan does a quick ‘eyebrow flash,'” Honigman said. “This speedy raised eyebrow is a show of friendliness and confirmation, and he uses it to show that he’s happy Amber chose him, and he wants to choose her right back.”
The couple shows a ‘hungry display’ of ‘possessiveness’ as newlyweds
Inbaal Honigman said Jordan and Amber’s “first kiss and cuddle as newlyweds is a hungry display; they’re both possessive of one another. They attach their bodies together, no gaps between them, wrapping their arms around each other, with their fingers digging into one another’s bodies.”
“This hug says ‘never leave me’, as their hands surround one another completely, locked together,” she continued.
Honigman noted how Jordan and Amber still appear nervous in their newlywed stage. “They said yes to the marriage, but there’s still a whole life to get through.” However, they show a “unified exhibition” as they hold hands in front of family and friends.
“Jordan never questioned whether he would choose Amber; it was always a yes for him, but he was not at all sure that she would choose him, and this made him painfully afraid,” Honigman concluded. “Amber didn’t know whether she’d say yes until the last moment.”
Amber later clarified that she always planned to say ‘yes’ to Jordan
Fans speculated that Amber and Jordan might’ve planned to say “no” at the altar on Love Is Blind Season 10. However, Amber released a text between herself and a producer for the show. The text shows Amber stating that even if she and Jordan didn’t tie the knot on the reality series, they planned to continue dating.
“Hey! I just wanted to clarify my stance because I know last night was confusing,” she wrote, according to screenshots from Cosmopolitan. “For me it’s still a yes and it’s always been a yes (even when I was hurt last Thursday). I now totally understand Jordan’s skepticism however. I think it was very important for us to talk this past week for me to truly understand that if he says no on Sunday we were still planning on going forward with our relationship regardless.”
“… We have made it clear to each other that we are okay either way even if he isn’t ready to say yes Sunday,” she continued.
