Brittany Cartwright’s new man has her back.

The Valley star recently sat down with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast to talk about her appearance on Fox’s Special Forces. While Brittany ended up being the first star to leave the grueling competition series, she says she has no regrets about her performance, noting that she faced one of her biggest fears by jumping out of a helicopter. And dealing with any disappointment has been easier thanks to her “very supportive” new boyfriend, Brandon Hanson

“I had already told him that I didn’t make it long,” she said. “So he was aware of all that stuff. But just very supportive. And just like, ‘Don’t listen to the haters. You did amazing. You tried. You know, you did the best you could do.’ He’s like, ‘You’re a great person. So don’t listen to people who would ever think otherwise.’”

Her brief Special Forces appearance has also given the Vanderpump Rules alum more confidence, she said.

“Now if I’m scared of anything I’m like, ‘I jumped out of a helicopter. I can do this,’” she said. “… I am more down to try adventurous things, I think. Because I put myself out there. I was terrified. I did it. I survived.”
