On any given day, at any given time, Taylor Swift can become the center of speculation and rumors that pop up on the internet. And because she is one of the most famous women on the planet, fake news about her can spread far and wide pretty rapidly.

That appears to be what happened recently when someone with no evidence and misinformation claimed that Swift is “100% pregnant” and that’s why she and Travis Kelce are “rushing” their wedding.

On April 20, the X user posted, “Taylor Swift is 100% pregnant! She experienced a rapid weight gain, then seemed to disappear off the map. That is also why they are rushing the wedding for June 13th.”

That post has racked up more than 1 million views as some fans immediately believed what was said and started sharing their congrats and how happy they are for the couple.

But there is no proof that there is any truth to the pop star being preggers. Moreover, she did not “disappear off the map” as she and Kelce attended the iHeartRadio Music Awards a few weeks ago and just a few nights ago they were spotted having dinner at Casa Cipriani in New York City, where they were ushered inside under large umbrellas.

Jazz musician Richie Nuzz, also known as The Neo Crooner, who played at the club that night, spoke to Page Six about performing a set for the pop star, her fiancé, and a few of their friends on Friday night.

“She was dancing. She was grooving. It wasn’t like anybody was bothering her,” Nuzz recalled. “It’s just like the energy that she brought to the room — everybody was having a great time. And like the band, we were vibing” there was “staff and security around her table, probably to kind of block any people from coming up to her. It was definitely one of our best shows, knowing that she was there, but also the whole entire room was packed.”

Many Swifties took to the comments to express how unhappy they were about the rumor being spread.

“She deserves privacy if something big is happening. Let her share the news when she’s ready,” one person wrote, while another added, “Um we just saw her at ihearts and she clearly wasn’t pregnant.”

“Taylor Swift hasn’t publicly shared anything like that and changes in appearance or stepping back from the spotlight can happen for all kinds of reasons. It’s usually better to wait for official news rather than jumping to conclusions,” a third wrote.

A fourth commented, “Even if it were true, announcing something like this should come from her, not internet detectives zooming into photos. Sometimes fans dont know the level their curiosity turns into personal invasion.”

And a fifth said, “Let’s not speculate on someone being pregnant. It’s gross behavior.”

One person on X asked GROK if the claim was true and received this response: “No, it’s not true. Taylor Swift is not pregnant–multiple credible reports from March and April 2026 (Yahoo, Hollywood Gossip, etc.) confirm zero evidence, no announcement, and no baby bump. The ‘rapid weight gain’ and ‘disappearance’ claims are unsubstantiated speculation.”
