Cardi B Warned ‘I’ll Beat You A** if You Cheat on Me’ as She Goes Instagram Official With Stefon Diggs
After trying to keep things low-key for a while, Cardi B and Stefon Diggs hard-launched their relationship and people have had a lot to say including the “Up” rapper’s estranged husband, Offset.
The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker and New England Patriots wide receiver confirmed their romance in May when they attended an NBA game together. Then weeks later, they became Instagram official when Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, shared some snaps of them getting cozy on a yacht as well as a spicy twerking video.
She captioned the carousel of pics: “Chapter 5. Hello Chapter six.”
Since Offset felt the need to comment, fans are bringing up all the times he allegedly cheated on Cardi and hoping that Diggs got the message not to do the same thing. Here’s more on that and how Offset responded to Cardi’s posts with the NFL star.
Cardi B opens up about being cheated on
In 2020, Cardi B opened up about Offset cheating on her and called monogamy “the only way.”
“When me and my husband got into our issues — you know, he cheated and everything — and I decided to stay with him and work with him, a lot of people were so mad at me,” she told Vogue. “A lot of women felt disappointed in me. But it’s real-life s***. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, and you’re depressed, and social media is telling you not to talk to that person because he cheated, you’re not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation.”
She continued: “Then, if you get back with them, it’s like, how could you? You let all of us down. People that be in marriages for years when they say till death do us part, they not talking about little arguments like if you leave the fridge open. That’s including everything … So when you cheat, you’re betraying the person that has your back the most. Why would you do that?
“For me, monogamy is the only way. I’ll beat your a** if you cheat on me.”
Offset responded to Cardi and Diggs’ hard launch
Cardi and Diggs have been romantically linked since October 2024, but the two going Instagram official got Offset’s attention.
The former Migos member, who has three kids with Cardi and is in the midst of what’s shaping up to be a nasty divorce with the “WAP” emcee, responded — and deleted — a post that said, “good roll out n PR.” He also took to X to share, before deleting, a clip of a man throwing a basketball out of frame that read: “Today I’ll pass.”
Diggs wasn’t taking the shots lying down and clapped back at Offset with a black-and-white photo of himself catching a football. Social media users took that to mean: I caught her.
And fans hope Cardi’s new man knows she is not playing anymore when it comes to cheating. You’ve been warned Stefon.
