Cassie Ventura’s name has been in the headlines a lot lately as she is one of the people testifying against her ex-boyfriend, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The disgraced music mogul is on trial for sex trafficking and racketeering and Cassie has been laying out some disturbing details she said happened to her when she was in a relationship with the Bad Boys Records founder.
Cassie is currently pregnant and has been married since 2019 to a man who sat in court listening to his wife recount her trauma. Now, people want to know more about the singer’s husband.
Here’s what we know about Alex Fine including how he met Cassie, how many children they have together, and how he has reacted being in the same courtroom with Diddy while his spouse is on the stand.
Fine penned an emotional letter to domestic violence survivors
Cassie is the prosecution’s key witness, and Fine was on hand to support her when she gave her testimony. Others in the courtroom noticed him staring down Combs with disgust as she spoke.
In 2024, after the shocking video footage of Diddy beating Cassie in a California hotel back in 2016 was released, Fine took to Instagram with an emotional message to domestic violence victims and their children.
“Men who hit women aren’t men. Men who enable it and protect those people aren’t men,” Fine wrote. “Our daughters, sisters, mothers, and wives should feel protected and loved. Men who hurt women hate women … To all the survivors, find the men and women who help and love.”
The caption accompanying his post read: “Wrote this awhile back but the words ring true not just today but every day. I want my kids and every kid to live in a world that’s safe for women and girls, protects them, and treats them as equals. To the women and children, you’re not alone, and you are heard.”
Fine is a model, actor, and personal trainer
Cassie’s husband wears quite a few hats. He is an actor with roles in MobLand, The Resurrection of Charles Manson, 1883, and the Netflix show American Primeval. He’s also a model, having walked in shows during Paris Fashion Week in 2024. In addition, he works as a personal trainer and that’s how he met the “Me & U” artist.
They went Instagram official in 2018 and he proposed to Cassie at a Compton Cowboys event, which is a charity that uses horseback riding to help young people in Los Angeles.
She told Vogue: “The first thing I saw was the guys on their horses waving at me. I looked up and saw our initials tied up above them, then Alex came around on his horse. When he got down on one knee, everything just stopped. I felt like I lost my sense of hearing; I just saw his mouth moving, and he said ‘I want to spend the rest of my life with you.’”
When Cassie and Fine got married and how many children they have
The couple tied the knot during an intimate ceremony in Malibu in 2019.
A few months after saying “I do,” they welcomed their first child, daughter Frankie, in December 2019. Their second child, another daughter Sunny, arrived in March 2021.
Cassie and Fine are currently expecting a baby boy as she is eight months pregnant.
In 2023, Cassie sued Diddy for allegedly sexually assaulting and physically abusing her. He paid her $20 million in a settlement.
