Stars are sharing their side of the story in a new crop of celebrity memoirs. From Sister Wives star Christine Brown Woolley, who is opening up about her life in polygamy, to Kevin Federline, who shares his side of his tumultuous relationship with Britney Spears, the rest of 2025 is full of juicy books that are sure to be must-reads for fans. Here’s our list of 10 new celebrity memoirs coming to bookstore shelves in 2025. 

‘Sister Wife: A Memoir of Faith, Family, and Finding Freedom’ by Christine Brown

Truly is on sale September 30. 

‘Vagabond: A Memoir by Tim Curry 

Tim Curry takes gives readers a behind-the-scenes look at his memorable career, including his success on Broadway and West End stages, his role as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the cult classic film The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and the pivot he had to make after surviving a catastrophic stroke in 2012. 

Vagabond: A Memoir is on sale October 7. 

‘Future Boy’ by Michael J. Fox

In Michael J. Fox’s latest book, the actor reflects on the early days of his career, when he was spending his days playing Alex P. Keaton on the hit sitcom Family Ties and his nights filming the soon-to-be cult classic Back to the Future. “Using new interviews with the cast and crew of both projects, the result is a vividly drawn and eye-opening story of creative achievement by a beloved icon,” according to the synopsis. 

Future Boy is on sale October 14.

‘You Thought You Knew’ by Kevin Federline 

Britney Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline shares his story of fame and fatherhood in his memoir. The former dancer opens up about his childhood, career performing with Destiny’s Child and Michael Jackson, and his high-profile marriage and divorce. 

“This book is extremely intimate and transparent. I achieved my biggest dreams, dealt with crushing heartbreak, and endured constant ridicule, all while becoming the father my children needed as they experienced nonstop emotional turbulence,” he said when announcing the book. “If you’ve ever had questions, you’ll find answers here.”

You Thought You Knew is on sale October 21.

‘Bread of Angels: A Memoir’ by Patti Smith 

Poet and punk icon Patti Smith follows up her her memoirs Just Kids (which won the National Book Award), M Train, and Year of the Monkey with this account of her life, including her post-WWII childhood, marriage to Fred “Sonic” Smith, and motherhood. 

Bread of Angels: A Memoir is on sale November 3. 

‘Heart Life Music’ by Kenny Chesney

Country star Kenny Chesney shares stories from his small-town childhood in Tennessee, days as a high school football player, and time chasing a music career in Nashville. Throughout, he “explores the quest to find himself as an artist and a man, as well as a sense of home anywhere there’s an ocean,” according to the synopsis. 

Heart Life Music is on sale November 4. 

‘Star of the Show: My Life on Stage’  

In her latest book, country icon Dolly Parton looks back at her seven-decade career in show business. Star of the Show is a visual memoir that combines 350 full-color photographs with personal stories and memories from her life, from her early years with Porter Wagoner to her arena performances and memorable 2023 Super Bowl halftime show.  

Star of the Show: My Life on Stage is on sale November 11. 

‘100 Rules for Living to 100: An Optimist’s Guide to a Happy Life’ by Dick van Dyke

Television icon Dick van Dyke reflects on his long life (he turns 100 in December 2025) in this upcoming collection of stories, reflections, and life advice on how he’s maintained his positive attitude over the years.  

100 Rules for Living to 100: An Optimist’s Guide to a Happy Life is on sale November 18.
