‘Chicago Fire’ Season 14 Is Coming to NBC in October 2025
The crew at Firehouse 51 is headed back to work! NBC has confirmed a premiere date for Chicago Fire Season 14.
‘Chicago Fire,’ ‘Chicago Med,’ and ‘Chicago P.D.’ set 2025 premiere dates
As in years past, Wednesday nights on NBC this fall will be dedicated to the trio of One Chicago shows.
Chicago Fire returns for its 14th season on Wednesday, October 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. It’s preceded by the premiere of Chicago Med Season 11 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and followed by the premiere of Chicago P.D. Season 13. New episodes of three shows will stream the next day on Peacock.
Cast changes are coming in ‘Chicago Fire’ Season 14

NBC hasn’t revealed any details about the 2025 Chicago Fire season premiere. But fans can expect at least one new face in the cast. On Call alum Brandon Larrencuente has joined the show as a series regular, Deadline reports.
“Always wanted to visit Chicago and now I’ve got a real reason to go. Grateful to @wolfentertainment for the opportunity to join the show,” Larrencuente wrote on Instagram. “Can’t wait to meet the cast and crew. Chi-town, here I come.”
Meanwhile, Daniel Kyri, who played Darren Ritter, and Jake Lockett, who played Sam Carver, have both left the show. Ritter’s exit hasn’t been addressed yet, but chances are it will be explained early in season 14. As for Carver, he revealed in the season 13 finale that he was moving to Denver to focus on his sobriety and after he admitted he still had feelings for Violet (Hanako Greensmith), making his departure particularly bittersweet for fans.
“While I don’t exactly know what the future looks like, I do know that it won’t be exactly what it was and I am going to miss the hell out of that,” Lockett wrote on Instagram after his exit was announced. “So much pride in this journey. It’s been an honor bringing Sam to life and to every one of you, thank you for the love and support over the past three years.”
In addition, Michael Bradway, who plays Kelly Severide’s (Taylor Kinney) younger brother Jack Damon, won’t appear in season 14 due to scheduling conflicts, according to E! News.
New cast member joins ‘Chicago P.D.’
Chicago P.D. will also welcome a new cast member in season 13. The Night Agent’s Arienne Mandi will play a new recruit with an intriguing background – she’s a former soldier of fortune and military contractor, per Deadline.
“Been a wild few days,” Mandi wrote on Instagram after it was announced she was joining the Dick Wolf procedural. “Couldn’t be more grateful for this new chapter and all the people who made space for me in it— friends, fam and the best team.”
Past season of Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Med are streaming on Peacock.
