After his treatment of Nia Sanchez fell under scrutiny on this season of The Valley, Danny Booko issued a public apology. He admitted that watching their disagreements has not been easy for him. Booko has become the villain of this season, and his apology has not changed that. Fans of the show don’t seem ready to accept it.

Danny Booko apologized to Nia Sanchez for his behavior on ‘The Valley’

During a group trip to San Diego, Booko and Sanchez had multiple heated arguments. He has faced a great deal of criticism from fans and cast members. He issued an apology to Sanchez for his behavior.

“To the person I love most, my beautiful wife, I am so sorry,” Booko wrote on Instagram Stories. “Watching these last few episodes back hasn’t been easy.”

He blamed alcohol and the exhaustion of parenthood for their problems. Booko and Sanchez have four young children.

“It was a difficult season of life and a version of myself that I’m embarrassed by and not proud of,” he continued. “A short fuse, stress, alcohol and lack of sleep are never a good combination, but that’s not an excuse. I should never have taken any of it out on you.”

“Balancing parenthood and life can stretch you in ways you don’t fully realize until you see yourself through a different lens. I love, honor, and respect you deeply, and I did not show that in some moments.”

He said he feels grateful to have her in his life.

“Nia, I love you so much. I’m grateful for you, our family, and this beautiful, chaotic life we’ve built together. I thank God for you every day.”

Danny Booko’s apology to Nia Sanchez isn’t impressing people

Very few fans of the show seem prepared to accept Booko’s apology. They haven’t seen a change in his behavior on their screens yet.

“Words are nice but actions are better!” one Reddit user wrote. “Gotta prove you’re about those words, dude.”

A number of people believe that Booko is only apologizing because he is receiving negative feedback on social media.

“Kissing her a** publicly because he got called out by the viewers!” added another person.

Other people felt he offered too many excuses. They just wanted to see him take accountability for his actions.

“Why can’t apologies ever just be like, ‘I was an a**hole. I’m sorry you did not deserve that. I will not disrespect you again,’” one person wondered. “Instead of all of this fluffy bs.”

“No excuses but here are all of my excuses,” added someone else.

Other people also asserted their belief that Sanchez wrote the apology for him.

She spoke about where their relationship stands

Sanchez discussed her problems with Booko on this season of The Valley.

“One thing with me and Daniel, in our relationship in general, yes, we have tense moments; yes, we can be short with each other,” she said on The Valley After Show, adding, “Sometimes we’re in this beautiful season where, like, everything is really good, and sometimes it’s not. And what people will see through this, like, window of time is, like, there were so many tense moments, and we were short with each other and had short fuses a lot.”

She is confident that their marriage will survive it, though.

“That doesn’t mean that we have a bad relationship,” she said. “It just means that we were having hard moments. And we’ll keep working on it, because we’re in it for the long run. And we’ve been together for a long time. And we know that those moments don’t define our entire relationship.”
