‘Dawson’s Creek’ Stars Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson Reunite in NYC
Joey and Pacey, together again! On Monday, former Dawson’s Creek stars Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson were spotted in New York City, where they are filming a new project.
Two decades after the teen soap ended its run, Holmes, 46, and Jackson, 47, have teamed up on a new movie trilogy, Happy Hours. Holmes is writing and directing the movies, which is about two people – played by Holmes and Jackson – navigating their relationship amid the challenges of career and family responsibilities, per Deadline.
”It’s a character-driven dramedy that explores the emotional journey of young loves who reconnect as adults, with the connective thread of shared joys, loss, and hop,” Deadline reports.

In the July 21 photo, the casually dressed pair stroll down an NYC street, trailed by a man with a camera and having what appears to be an animated conversation.
Holmes and Jackson played on-again, off-again couple Joey Potter and Pacey Witter on Dawson’s Creek, which aired from 1998 to 2003. They also dated for about a year early in the show’s run and have remained friends ever since.
“Katie and I are very close,” Jackson said earlier this year during an appearance on Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s Dinner’s On Me podcast.
The Doctor Odyssey star married Jodie Turner-Smith in 2019. They have one child and divorced in 2023. Holmes was famously married to Tom Cruise from 2006 to 2012. They share daughter Suri Cruise.
