Detroit Lions WAG Christen Harper Goff Talks Life as a New Mom and Managing Pet Hair With Her Maytag Collab
Christen Harper Goff is settling into a new chapter as she balances her modeling career with the grounded, day-to-day rhythm of life at home. Married to Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, she’s embraced a new normal that now revolves around their first baby. Their home life feels full, especially with their beloved dog, Quincy, adding to the family energy. Model and actress Christen Harper Goff is embracing life as a new mom in 2025. She’s made a name for herself in the modeling world. In 2022, she was named Co-Rookie of the Year in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and has appeared in the magazine every year since. In 2025, she had a particularly special shoot with the magazine. Christen was pregnant with her daughter at the time.
In addition to starting a new chapter in parenthood alongside her husband, Jared Goff, Christen adores being a dog mom to her beloved pet Quincy. In December 2025, she spoke to Showbiz Cheat Sheet about her partnership with Maytag to discuss the Pet Pro Washer and Dryer.
“I’m a new mom and longtime pet owner and pet lover,” Christen told us. “So, safe to say my house can be a little chaotic.” She added that the Maytag Pet Pro system is “truly incredible,” as it helps her accomplish her laundry needs. “It keeps me steady and keeps me on top of things even when things are crazy.”
Christen noted that Quincy is big, white, and fluffy, and the Maytag Pet Pro system gets the job done. The Maytag Pet Pro Washer is built to trap and remove pet hair. “If I do a little something every day, like a load of laundry, that truly was life-changing,” she told Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “My sister-in-law taught me that. You get one load in a day. There’s always enough, whether it’s towels from the dog or baby laundry, there’s always something. You chip away every day, and it never gets too overwhelming. And to me, that’s my biggest tip for staying on top of messes.”

Maytag partnered with Michigan Humane, a nonprofit organization providing animal welfare and sheltering services in the Detroit area, to host a “tail-gate” adoption event.
“It was really fun,” Christen Harper Goff noted, adding that the Maytag Pet Pro Top Load system was at the event. “We all just were cuddling these amazing puppies that were available for adoption. It was such a great way to see how bringing home an extra dog might change up your laundry at home and why those two go so hand-in-hand.”
“They were so cute,” she continued. “I couldn’t stop holding the dogs all day. They were sleeping in our arms.”
So, does Christen have plans to bring home another dog?
“It was tempting,” she admitted. “… I do have my hands full at home with a dog and a 5-month-old baby, and I’m still trying to figure out how to stay on top of things. Maybe in a few months, in a few years, we’ll get another dog.”

Christen Harper Goff says her journey into motherhood has been “a little smoother” than she initially expected, and her dog, Quincy, has been “great” with her 5-month-old daughter.
“He just kind of lets her do her thing,” she noted of Quincy. “She just started noticing him, and she’ll kind of pet him, which is really sweet. But they definitely keep my hands full. And there are definitely a lot more messes these days. So, it’s nice to have a partner that’s helping me stay on top of that, to say the least.”
As the NFL playoff season approaches, Christen said she and Jared seamlessly fit their daughter into their game-day routine.
“Getting out of the house as a new mom always feels so daunting, but once you do it, it’s so much easier than you think it’s going to be,” the model added. “And now, she’s truly the best distraction on game day. When things are getting a little dicey, I can step out with her and see her smile and giggle, and it brings everything back into perspective, even when game days are good or bad.”
Christen Harper Goff gave advice for new moms
Christen Harper Goff told Showbiz Cheat Sheet that her best advice for new moms is to take “things day by day.”
“Every day is so different,” she explained, noting that it’s important to go with the flow. “You never know how the day’s going to go. … You can’t plan out your day perfectly.”
As for the future, she’s excited to watch her daughter grow.
“I’m just excited to continue to watch her grow and experience all the milestones with her,” she told us. “It’s already happening so fast, like everybody says. So, I can’t even imagine. It probably continues to happen even faster. But just experiencing all the little moments, like her first birthday or when she starts to walk or crawl, I think it’s just going to be so fun.”
