Diddy’s Kids Post Tributes for His 56th Birthday Behind Bars
Throughout Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal battles, his children have been a visible source of support, publicly and privately standing by their father during a challenging period. His eldest children have shared messages on social media celebrating his achievements and offering encouragement as he navigated his trial and sentencing. Beyond posts, insiders report that visits and communications have been a consistent source of strength for the music mogul. Most recently, Diddy celebrated his 56th birthday behind bars. Here’s how his kids paid tribute on social media.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ kids posted birthday tributes for his 56th birthday
Sean “Diddy” Combs is now serving time at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Fort Dix, New Jersey. The hip-hop icon and fashion mogul began his sentence earlier this year following his conviction on charges related to transportation for illegal activity. At Fort Dix, Diddy is adjusting to the realities of prison life, trading private jets and mansion parties for a structured routine and limited freedoms.
Diddy has seven kids: Quincy Brown, 34; Justin Combs, 31; Christian “King” Combs, 27; Chance Combs, 19; twins D’Lila and Jessie Combs, 18, and Love Combs, 2. Several of his kids posted sweet tributes for his 56th birthday on Nov. 4, 2025.
Quincy, Diddy’s eldest son, posted a series of photos to Instagram with the caption, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY POPS! WE LOVE YOU! WE MISS YOU.” The carousel of photos included ones of Quincy as a toddler with his father, as well as several photos with the entire family.
Justin Combs’ tribute focused more on Diddy’s past. He posted well-known clips of the rapper’s hit songs and music videos. He also added photos of Diddy running the New York marathon in 2003. “Happy Birthday Pops
Love you,” he captioned the post. “Miss you. Can’t wait til you home! #FREEPD.”
Christian “King” Combs’ tribute included photos of himself and his father on stage, as well as photos of himself with Diddy as a young boy. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE GREATEST POPS IN THE WORLD !!” he captioned his Instagram post. “I LOVE YOU !! I wish you was here w us, I Can’t wait to see you !! #FREEPOPS.”
Jessie and D’Lila Combs posted one photo with Diddy on Instagram, and it’s of them racing in a car with helmets on. “Happy birthday to the best dad everrrr,” they captioned the post. “We love you sooo much and wish we could celebrate your big day with you. We miss you sooooo much.”
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ legal team wanted him to move to FCI Fort Dix for his family
Sean “Diddy” Combs’ move to FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey was backed by his legal team as a strategic decision aimed at supporting both his rehabilitation and family relationships. In a letter to Arun Subramanian, his attorney emphasized placing Diddy at Fort Dix “to address drug abuse issues and to maximize family visitation and rehabilitative efforts,” according to CBS News.
One of the key points of the request was the facility’s proximity to the New York/tri‑state area. This would make regular visits from his children and extended family more feasible.
Additionally, Fort Dix houses one of the federal system’s most comprehensive substance abuse treatment programs. Diddy’s request highlighted the prison’s Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP). The year‑long treatment opportunity can reduce an inmate’s sentence if successfully completed.
The mogul’s children believe he’s a ‘changed man’
During sentencing, several of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ kids stood before Judge Arun Subramanian to speak. His children spoke of how he’s “changed” since his arrest and will continue to improve.
“We’re going to love him unconditionally through his struggles. But in front of you and in front of us is a changed man,” Quincy Brown said, according to Vibe. “Our father has learned a major lesson. Week after week, we’ve seen him evolve, something we haven’t seen in 15 years. He’s completely transformed.”
Justin Combs went on to ask the judge to give his father a “second chance to right his wrongs” and “to be the man he truly is.”
Chance Combs also touched on the changes in Diddy, including how he’s now “more patient, more thoughtful, and more open about his mistakes.”
