A TV icon is joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for season 16. 

Leah Remini will be holding a diamond when RHOBH returns to Bravo, per Variety. The King of Queens star confirmed her new gig in an Instagram post. She shared a photo of herself at a Bravo event along with the caption, “It’s true!!” 

“AT LONG LAST!!!” Housewives producers Andy Cohen commented.

Other members of the Bravo family also welcomed Remini with open arms.

“Oh my gosh! Welcome! We are going to have so much fun!” wrote actor Jennifer Tilly, who joined RHOBH as a Friend in season 14. 

“Can’t wait to meet you!!” commented Kathy Hilton, another friend of the Beverly Hills Housewives. 

“Omg!!! I am beyond excited for this!!!!” chimed in Melissa Gorgo from The Real Housewives of New Jersey.  

“Well I’m pumped! This is going to be [fire],” added Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles alum Tracy Tutor. The luxury real estate agent will also be joining RHOBH as a full-time cast member in season 16. 

Remini is set to begging filming for the upcoming season of RHOBH this week, according to Variety. 

Remini is best known for starring as Carrie Heffernan on all nine seasons of King of Queens, which aired from 1998 to 2007. More recently, she’s made headlines for her outspoken criticism of the Church of Scientology, which she joined when she was a child. Remini eventually broke with the controversial church and starred in the 2015 series Leah Remini: Scientology and The Aftermath for A&E. It aired for three seasons and won two Emmys. 

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is streaming on Peacock.
