So, is Rihanna gearing up for baby No. 4? On Jan. 11, 2026, she caused a stir following her comment on influencer Montana Rose Brown’s Instagram reel. Brown posted a reel of herself with the caption, “Deciding whether to get hot and sexy or get pregnant in 2026.”

“Wait! So I’m not crazy then? Bet!” Rihanna commented on the post, resulting in over 17,000 likes in just a few days.

Before Rihanna’s viral 2026 comment, she told Interview Magazine in 2024 that she was open to having more kids depending on what God had in store for her.

“I let God lead and just let go,” she said, referencing her enduring relationship with A$AP Rocky. “Because in previous relationships, I tried and tried and tried my best, and you still feel like it’s not enough. So when someone sees you completely, and believes in you, and thinks you’re worthy of being the mother of their kids, it’s a great feeling. I felt the same about him. I knew he would be a great dad.”

Then, when asked about how many more kids she wanted, she answered, “as many as God wants me to have.”

“I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two,” she explained. “I would try for my girl. But of course, if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”

In March 2020, Rihanna spoke to British Vogue about her future. The interviewer asked Rihanna what life looked like a decade after the interview.

“Ten years? I’ll be 42! I’ll be ancient,” Rihanna said. “I’ll have kids — three or four of ’em.”

The interviewer then asked the star whether she would become a mother without a partner. To that, she said yes.

“I feel like society makes me want to feel like, ‘Oh, you got it wrong …,'” Rihanna explained. “They diminish you as a mother if there’s not a dad in your kids’ lives. But the only thing that matters is happiness; that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love.”

While Rihanna hints at having more kids, A$AP Rocky may have also hinted at family expansion while speaking about Highest 2 Lowest. In September 2025, an interviewer with Entertainment Tonight asked for a “baby update” from the rapper.

“You know I gotta ask you before we wrap up — we need a baby update,” the interviewer stated. “Are ya’ll ready to be a party of five, a party of six? What’s cooking?”

“You know, whatever is in store for us, I’m ready for it, man,” Rocky said, smiling. “That’s how I look at these things, is just like, those are blessings. And you just gotta let them happen.”
