‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ Season 4 premieres April 21 on Fox
Farmer Wants a Wife Season 4 premieres Tuesday, April 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox. Episodes will stream on Hulu.
Kimberly Williams-Paisley returns to host the new season of the reality series, which calls itself the most successful dating show in the world. With versions airing in 32 countries, the Farmer Wants a Wife franchise has resulted in 250 marriages and more than 500 children.
New season of ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ will be more ‘intimate’
For its fourth season on Fox, Farmer Wants a Wife is shaking things up a bit. The first three seasons each followed four different farmers. But season 4 will pare things down and focus on just three men.
The change allows “their stories to unfold with more depth, vulnerability and emotional stakes,” Fox promises, resulting in “a season that’s more immersive, more romantic and even more hearts break.”
Viewers can also expect some surprising twists in Farmer Wants a Wife Season 4. One of the daters will shock the group with she decides to ditch her matched farmer to pursue a different man. Plus, at the first group event, the farmers will have to decide to welcome a woman who has been hand-picked by their families into the mix.

So, who are the three men who’ve agreed to share their search for love with the world? They range in age from 22 to 35 and hail from the West, South, and Midwest.
Braden Pridemore, 26, is a fifth-generation corn and soybean farmer from Homer, Illinois. He co-owns and lives on his family’s 3,000-acre operation, and is hoping to find a fun, faith-minded woman who is ready to build a life—and a family—on the farm his grandfather built.
Brett Maverick, 35, is a horse and cattle farmer from Savannah, Tennessee. A former bull rider, he’s now back at home on his family’s 1,000-acre spread, where he’s started his own horse and cattle ranch. But Brett has more than farming on the brain. He’s also building a successful protein bar company as well as a tequila brand. All he needs now is a partner to join him on his exciting journey.
Sean Cavanaugh, 22, hails from Solvang, California, a picturesque wine-making community not far from Santa Barbara. This Golden State native grows farm-to-table produce on his family’s 22 acres, which produces everything from tomatoes and peaches to figs, kiwis and avocados. The bounty goes to support the family’s restaurant, The Gathering Table, and other eateries across California. Sean, who is focused, driven, and ready for something real, knows exactly what he’s looking for in love and life.
