Four ‘Selling Sunset’ Cast Members Fired Ahead of Season 10 — Who Won’t Be Back (And Which OGs Will Return)?
Selling Sunset is cleaning house ahead of season 10.
The Netflix reality series has fired four cast members on the heels of its ninth season, according to reports, including one of its remaining original stars.
Mary Bonnet, Emma Hernan among fired ‘Selling Sunset’ cast members
Selling Sunset stars Mary Bonnet, Sandra Vergara, Emma Hernan, and Chelsea Lazkani have all been shown the door, according to TMZ. The four women were told last month that they would not be part of the cast of the upcoming season, which begins filming in a few weeks. Bonnet has been part of the show since its debut.
Also not returning for the new season? Alanna Gold. In an Instagram video she shared on May 19, she said she decided to leave in February of this year.
“It’s been an amazing journey and I’ve definitely grown a lot from the experience,” she said. “However, I just kind of decided that it was time for me to focus on other things that are taking a priority in my life right now … since leaving Selling Sunset, I feel that it’s freed up a lot of my energy.”
Original cast member Chrishell Stause also announced her exit after season 9, telling Bustle that she needed to prioritize her mental health. In additon, Nicole Young left the show after last season.
Christine Quinn, Heather Rae El Moussa return for ‘Selling Sunset’ Season 10
The exits are major shakeup for the popular show, which premiered in 2019. To vill the void, Selling Sunset is bringing back two of its most famous cast members: Christine Quinn and Heather Rae El Moussa.
Christine starred in five seasons of Selling Sunset before departing in 2022. She brought plenty of drama during her stint on the series, including allegations that she bribed a client to quit working with a rival agent. Now, with her troubled marriage to Christian Dumontet behind her, she’s ready for a fresh start.
“[Selling Sunset creator] Adam DiVello and I reconnected after my divorce, and I really appreciate him extending the invitation to come back on,” she told Tudum. “I’m returning from a very different place, with more perspective, confidence, and clarity.”
Heather, also a Selling Sunset OG, left the show after season 6 but has appeared occasionally since then. She’s back as a full-time cast member in season 10. Like Christine, the star of HGTV’s The Flip Off said that she’s gained perspective in her time away from the show.
“I’ve become a mom, a wife, a business owner, and I finally feel secure enough in who I am to walk back into that world and not lose myself in it,” she shared. “I’m calmer, more grounded, less reactive. I know what I want, and I’m not afraid to say it.”
In addition to Christine and Heather, Selling Sunset Season 10 will reportedly also feature returning cast members Bre Tiesi and Amanza Smith, as well as a new agent, Tara Sarbaz. Selling The OC star Alex Hall is also in talks to join the cast, TMZ reports.
Selling Sunset is streaming on Netflix.
