Kim Kardashian turned the Venice canals into her personal runway at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding weekend. For the official ceremony on June 27, she slipped into a breathtaking vintage bronze‑chainmail Versace gown. And she also turned heads in a revealing bandeau while taking part in the festivities in Italy. While it’s usually Kardashian’s fashion that turns heads, fans grew concerned over her armpits. Here’s what a plastic surgeon said about the star’s underarm skin that’s garnering attention for all the wrong reasons.

The Kardashian-Jenner clan arrived in full force to Venice for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding. Kim Kardashian turned heads in multiple outfits, including her Versace gown, which she elevated with a dazzling diamond pendant necklace, layered earrings, rings galore, and her signature loose waves. She topped it off with sleek black sunglasses, adding a cool, modern edge.

Earlier during the welcome festivities, Kardashian made a statement in a gray snakeskin‑print dress with a plunging lace‑up neckline and crystal‑studded straps — another Versace moment that spoke volumes in metallic and attitude. And, of course, her barely-there bandeau look showed off her toned waistline.

Unfortunately, fans couldn’t get past Kardashian’s armpit skin, which appeared pitted. Fans sounded the alarm on the indentation online, as they wondered about the cause.

Dr. Norman M. Rowe, M.D., a New York-based plastic surgeon, spoke to The U.S. Sun about Kardashian’s armpits. Dr. Rowe explained that the indentation could be an “axillary hollowing” — “a divot or indentation in the armpit area that can result from certain cosmetic procedures.”

“The most common causes include liposuction to the upper arm or armpit, an arm lift or brachioplasty, or breast augmentation when the implant is placed through the transaxillary route — that is, through an incision in the armpit,” Dr. Rowe continued. He noted that these procedures involve removing or repositioning tissue which can “leave behind visible contour changes,” especially in someone lean.

Dr. Rowe added that Kardashian can have this corrected quickly if it is, in fact, an axillary hollowing. “A correction would likely involve fat grafting — transferring fat from another area of the body and carefully injecting it into the hollow to restore a smoother, more natural contour,” he said.

Kardashian has stated in the past that she’s never had major plastic surgery. Currently, there is no definitive confirmation as to what procedures Kardashian has or has not had.
