‘Golden Bachelor’ Susan Noles Says ‘Plane Almost Hit’ Her, Posts Video Evidence
Susan Noles, known for her vibrant presence on The Golden Bachelor, has enthusiastically and authentically embraced life beyond reality TV. Since her time on the show, Susan has co-hosted the Golden Hour podcast with fellow alum Kathy Swarts, offering candid insights into love, relationships, and personal growth. In a heartwarming turn of events, Susan met a French man in Saint Martin, and their connection blossomed into a deep relationship. Here’s what she recently posted about nearly getting “hit” by a plane while on vacation with her boyfriend.
‘The Golden Bachelor’ contestant Susan Noles posted about nearly getting ‘hit’ by a plane
Susan Noles became a fan favorite on the first season of The Golden Bachelor. Her bold fashion choices, striking resemblance to Kris Jenner, and candid, no-nonsense personality endeared her to fans. While Susan didn’t win Gerry Turner’s heart, she officiated his wedding to Theresa Nist. Beyond the screen, Susan connects with fans through her podcast and public appearances. And fans are deeply interested in her new boyfriend, Frédéric.
In May 2025, Susan posted that she and Frédéric were vacationing in Saint Martin. She posted a photo to Instagram showing them posing within the frame of a large, red heart on the beach. In another post, she seems happier than ever to relax on the beach.
“You know what this is about, right?” she tells the camera while wearing a sunhat and sunglasses. “It’s about me. It’s about me, the sea, the sun, the sand, and just feeling good.”
While vacationing, she posted another clip claiming a plane nearly “hit” her. “Didn’t come to the beach for this,” she captioned the post.
The clip shows Susan struggling to walk through intense winds on the beach. She holds her phone camera to show her reaction after a plane flies right overhead. Finally, she adds a clip of the plane, which appears dangerously close to where she’s walking on the sand. “That was insane,” she says in the clip. Saint Martin is known for its planes flying right over the beach to land on the runway.
Susan Noles gave more insight into her relationship with Frédéric
The Golden Bachelor alum Susan Noles is excited to share details about the new man in her life.
“I did meet someone, and I know I’ve been talking about being single because I didn’t know where it was going to go,” Noles told her co-host Kathy Swarts on their Golden Hour podcast in April 2025. “I know what I felt, but wanted to make sure we were both on the same page. And I just have to share that we are. We were having fun and were just seeing where things are going, and now, I can honestly say he’s the real deal.”
Susan explained how she went on Tinder while vacationing with Kathy. “And Kathy and I were having a fabulous vacation, and one night, we went to bed. She was upstairs, I was in my room, and I was playing games on my computer, and I could not sleep,” Susan continued. “And I thought, you know what, what do I got to lose? I went on Tinder. See everybody, it does work when you least expect it.”
Susan matched with Frédéric, who speaks French. She brought Kathy along to meet Frédéric and assist in communicating with them. The happy couple used a translation app to communicate from that point forward. Since meeting for the first time, Susan has traveled to Saint Martin several times to spend time with Frédéric.
‘The Golden Bachelor’ alum won’t be joining ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 10
Susan Noles isn’t hitting the beach this summer for Bachelor in Paradise Season 10. However, Golden Bachelor fans will see some favorites from Gerry Turner’s season. Confirmed participants include Golden Bachelor runner-up Leslie Fhima, Golden Bachelorette’s Gary Levingston, Zoe McGrady from Grant Ellis’s Bachelor season, and Hakeem Moulton and Jonathon Johnson from Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette season. The addition of older contestants introduces new dynamics and has fans eagerly awaiting the season premiere.
And, of course, Jesse Palmer returns as host, joined by Wells Adams as bartender and former Bachelorette Hannah Brown, who will oversee a new Champagne Lounge.
Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 premieres on Monday, July 7, 2025, on ABC.
