Hallmark Channel’s ‘Summer Nights’ Movie and TV Schedule for August 2025
Hallmark Channel is keeping things hot with its slate of all-new movies and TV shows for August 2025. This year’s “Summer Nights” programming event includes the premiere of the three-part time-jumping romance series Providence Falls, as well as the return of original series The Chicken Sisters. Keep reading for our rundown of the Hallmark TV and movie schedule for July 2025.
‘Providence Falls’
Hallmark already dipped its toe in the time-traveling romance space with its hit series The Way Home. Now comes Providence Falls, a three-part movie event based on a book series by Jude Deveraux and Tara Sheets.
Set in both 1844 and the present-day, the movies follow the relationship between roguish Liam (Lachlan Quimby) and sheltered aristocrat Cora (Katie Stevens). The effects of their thwarted romance ripple through time until the present, when a reincarnated Liam is tasked with making Cora (who has no memory of their past love) fall in love with Finn (Evan Roderick), the man she was supposed to marry in 1844.
Fans of cult-favorite Starz series Outlander will definitely want to tune in, Stevens says, though the series is bit more chaste than that period romance.
“It’s got Outlander vibes with angels and reincarnation,” she told TV Insider. “It’s steamy, but we keep our pants on.”
Providence Falls: A Chance of a Lifetime premieres Saturday, August 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Providence Falls: An Impossible Promise premieres Saturday, August 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Providence Falls: Thief of Fate premieres Saturday, August 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
‘Double Scoop’

In Double Scoop, Nora (Taylor Cole) discovers the best ice cream and hopes to land the company as a client. But her sweet dreams hit a snag when her former colleague James (Ryan McPartlin) has the same idea.
Double Scoop premieres Saturday, August 23 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
‘Catch of the Day’
Sophie (Chesapeake Shores alum Emilie Ullerup) is on the verge of becoming a New York executive chef. But when she returns home to help her family’s flailing restaurant she runs into her old crush, Cam (Michael Rady), which makes her question everything.
Catch of the Day premieres Saturday, August 30 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
‘The Chicken Sisters’ Season 2
This August, Hallmark is also serving up a second helping of its newest original series, The Chicken Sisters. With the two rival chicken restaurants finally united, Gus, Nancy, Amanda, and Mae are thriving. Then, Ultimate Kitchen Clash premieres. And when another restaurant owner tries to start his own chicken chain, things get even more complicated.
The Chicken Sisters Season 2 premieres Sunday, August 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark.
