HGTV’s ‘Extreme Buyers Club’ Follows Noel Collier as She Tackles Crazy Real Estate Requests – See the Trailer [Exclusive]
Sometimes, cookie-cutter just doesn’t cut it. But where do you turn when you’re a prospective home buyer looking for a property that ticks some very specific boxes? Enter Texas real estate agent Noel Collier.
Showbiz Cheat Sheet has the first look at the trailer for HGTV’s new series Extreme Buyers Club, which follows Collier as she steps up to help clients with their truly unique property requests. Just how unique? The eight-episode show, which premieres July 21, features a ghost-obsessed couple who actually want to live in a haunted home and a professional mermaid who needs lots of water to practice her art. And then there’s the woman recently divorced woman who’s needs some extra space – for her llamas.
“I really need four bedrooms,” she tells Collier. “One for myself, one for my kids when they come to visit, one for the grandkids, and one for the llamas.”
“The llamas in the house?” a shocked Collier replies.
While Collier is happy to help her client, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have questions. “Will these llamas open the refrigerator?” she wonders. “Will they be potty-trained? You living in the house – are you paying bills, llama?”
Burning questions aside, if you’re a househunter with out-of-the-box needs, Collier is here for you.
“My specialty as a real estate agent is helping homebuyers with extreme requests,” she explains.
That includes a guy who bought an airplane, only to belatedly realize that he also needs a place to park it, and a man who is on the hunt for a bunker that will protect him in the event of a nuclear attack.
No request is too extreme for Collier, and she’s willing to step in and find a home for people who have been hesitant to work with more conventional real estate agents for fear of judgment. And if she can’t find the perfect property on the market, she’s willing to propose solutions, such as a creating backyard stage for a burlesque performer
“Noel really listened to our needs and really committed to helping us find a place that we can grow with,” one satisfied buyer says.
For Collier, that praise is a sign of a job well done.
“Everyone deserves their dream home,” she says, “no matter how unique their lifestyle.”
Extreme Buyers Club premieres Tuesday, July 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV.
