Inside Kylie Jenner’s Third Workplace Lawsuit in Months: Former Chef Alleges Mistreatment Led to Miscarriage
Kylie Jenner faces a new lawsuit from her former chef shortly after two other employees sued her. Jenner’s chef, who wishes to remain anonymous, alleges that the workplace conditions caused her to have a miscarriage. She also said she faced discrimination while working for Jenner. Two former housekeepers also sued Jenner for discrimination.
Kylie Jenner’s former chef filed a lawsuit against her
Jenner’s former chef recently filed a lawsuit alleging pregnancy discrimination and harassment, misclassification of employment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
In the suit, the chef claims that she worked 55 hours a week in various locations. In December 2024, she informed Jenner’s team of her high-risk pregnancy. Per Entertainment Weekly, she said she “required reasonable accommodations to protect her health and pregnancy.” Despite this, she says the Defendants “instead continued assigning Plaintiff excessive hours, physically demanding tasks, and high-pressure events.”
She said that she endured “passive-aggressive remarks and condescending treatment” throughout her pregnancy. She claims she was once tasked with “transport[ing] heavy food items across the street and uphill without assistance” and, as a result of the “physical exertion,” started “choking and gasping for air, and required assistance from security personnel, who intervened by providing Plaintiff water and aid.”
She alleges that while five months pregnant, she traveled to Palm Springs for Jenner’s child’s birthday party. The “intense” workload led to “extreme physical exhaustion.” When she brought up her concerns, Jenner’s team met them with “indifference and hostility.”
The day after the party, the plaintiff alleges that she began hemorrhaging. After driving herself to the hospital, she learned “there was no detectable heartbeat and that she had lost her unborn child.”
She said that after the loss of her pregnancy, she asked if she could relocate to New York to be closer to her family. She alleges that Jenner’s team took this as a resignation and let her go.
She is now seeking damages for discrimination, unpaid wages, and wrongful termination.
Kylie Jenner’s former housekeepers also filed lawsuits against her
The chef’s lawsuit comes just months after two of Jenner’s former housekeepers sued her. On April 17, Angelica Vasquez sued for discrimination and harassment of national origin, race, religion, disability, and failure to provide reasonable accommodation. In her suit, she claims that she received the most undesirable and difficult tasks. She also alleges she was “excluded from the housekeeping team; publicly belittled and humiliated in front of coworkers due to her race, national origin, and religion; and subjected to intimidation and demeaning treatment.”
She described a “toxic and abusive work environment,” in which other employees mocked her for her accent and her Salvadoran background. Vasquez also alleges that she experienced “hostile verbal and physical conduct” when supervisors threw hangers at her as they reprimanded her.
On April 30, Juana Delgado Soto filed a second lawsuit against Jenner. She alleges racial discrimination, harassment, unpaid wages, and more. In 2025, Soto alleged that she wrote a letter to Jenner about the mistreatment she faced. The following day, supervisors threatened her job and began treating her worse.
“Defendants told her she was no longer allowed to look at Kylie, smile at Kylie, and if she saw Kylie she would have to ‘disappear,’” the filing reads.
She seeks punitive and compensatory damages.
