New York Knicks star Josh Hart, who helped the team win an NBA championship in 2026, has a home just outside the Big Apple in Westchester. But he also owns a palatial mansion in South Florida that he hasn’t been able to offload for a while. That may change now, though, as he reduced the asking price.

The sprawling Pinecrest home in Miami-Dade County can be yours if you have an extra $5.69 million lying around. The basketball player and his wife, Shannon Phillips Hart, purchased the residence in 2022 for $4.75 million. They listed it in 2025 for $5.9 million and later cut the price to $5.8 million before removing it from the market altogether.

The Wall Street Journal reported that in November 2026, the house was back up for sale with a new asking price of $5.69 million. Let’s take a look at what you get for that amount.

The property sits on a cul-de-sac in Coconut Palm Estates. It features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and spans 5,728 square feet. It boasts high ceilings and large windows for plenty of natural light to flow through. The layout is an open-floor plan for spacious living that’s ideal for entertaining. The chef’s kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, a large island, and a cozy breakfast nook. And that’s just the inside.

Outside, you’ll find plenty of resort-style amenities, including a large swimming pool, covered terraces, an outdoor kitchen, lush tropical grounds, and a putting green that Hart installed himself.

Growing up on the East Coast in Maryland, Hart admitted that New York has felt more like home to him than Florida.

“Miami is cool, but New York is home,” he said during an interview with Haute Living. “I’m an East Coast kid, but really, I’m a Northeast kid, and I’ve always said that. I have this conversation with people all the time—they say things like, ‘Miami is so fun, this and that’ … Compared to New York, Miami doesn’t match the vibe of New York, the hustle and bustle, where everyone is moving and has something to do.

“New Yorkers are a lot like me … So, New York for sure feels more like home.”

That said, Hart’s not totally abandoning the Sunshine State. After he sells this property, the athlete says that he will look to buy another home in the area for a future residence. So this is not goodbye to South Florida. And he’ll definitely have a wine cellar in their next Florida home, as Hart is a wine connoisseur and owns over 1,000 bottles, focusing heavily on Burgundy and Bordeaux estates.

“My wife hates it because I go all-in with my vices,” he shared. “I love my wine; I’m all in on it. I went from shoes to watches to wine. And I kind of wish I hadn’t, because those are two very expensive vices. At least watches make good investments; they make money over time. Wine is a good investment until you drink it, because then you can’t get it back.”
