Jalen Hurt and Bry Burrows understood the Met Gala assignment. The couple casually confirmed their marriage last month. Now, they have hit the red carpet in coordinating Burberry ensembles.

Hurts wore a black velvet double-breasted suit with floral embroidery. A black silk tie and a Tiffany & Co. brooch complemented the bold suit. Hurts also rocked a beret. According to Vogue, the beret paid homage to the hip-hop style of the 1990s. While Hurts’ look was sleek and complex, his wife’s outfit really stole the show.

Bry Burrows, an executive, donned a heavily beaded, burgundy evening gown. The dress featured bold beadwork, fringe accents, and tapestry-inspired embroidery. In a statement to Vogue, Burberry said, “Bryonna Hurts’ look is an ode to the romanticism and revelry of eveningwear.” Her dress took 168 hours to complete.
