Why Is Jasmine Pineda Bald? ‘90 Day Fiancé’ Star Explains Why She Shaved Her Head

On February 6, the 90 Day Fiancé star took to Instagram to share an update on her life. Many of her followers have wondered why the Panama native has not returned to her home country to visit her two young sons, who remained there when she immigrated to the United States.

“I can’t share many details publicly, but I want to clarify something I’m asked a lot,” she began.

“I’m currently unable to leave the U.S. due to false allegations made by my ex regarding immigration fraud, after a five-year relationship,” she continued. “The truth always comes to light.”

In 2023, Jasmine moved to the United States to be with her then-fiancé Gino Palazzolo, whom she married soon after. But the couple’s marriage was plagued with problems from the start as they struggled with intimacy and other issues. Eventually, Jasmine demanded an open relationship. When she became pregnant with another man’s baby, the relationship further deteriorated. In March 2025, she welcomed a daughter with her new boyfriend, Matt, and in October 2025, she filed for divorce from Gino.

The TLC’s couple’s split has been ugly. Jasmine has insisted that she truly loved her husband and wanted to make things work. But he’s said he feels used and betrayed after spending thousands of dollars to bring Jasmine to the U.S. only to have the marriage fail soon after.

‘90 Day’ star is ‘choosing peace’ as her lawyer says her client hopes to be reunited with her kids

In previous social media posts, Jasmine has claimed Gino threatened to report her to immigration authorities prior to her getting pregnant with Matt’s baby. She’s also said that he withheld her earnings from her 90 Day appearances. Meanwhile, Jasmine’s older kids have remained in Panama because of an error Gino made when filling out her K-1 visa paperwork.

The messy situation has been weighing on Jasmine.

“I’ve already been through hell, and I’m choosing peace, healing, and truth,” she wrote on Instagram.

Jasmine’s attorney also weighed in on the situation in the comments.

“Yes I have advised against any international travel. Thanks all for your support of @jasminepanama,” Kelsey Zubkoff wrote. “We are working to reunite her entire family together as well with her amazing boys.”

In another recent post, Jasmine said that the news that Panama was taking steps to join the U.S. Visa Waiver Program had given her “hope.” The program allows citizens of certain country to travel to the U.S. for tourism or business purposes for 90 days without obtaining a visa.

“It means more opportunity, easier family visits, stronger ties between our countries, and a future that feels a little more open and possible,” she wrote. “I’m truly grateful to witness this moment. This is big. This is progress. And it makes my heart so full.”
