Jenelle Evans Shares Homeschooling Adventures and a New Medical Diagnosis
If you heard Teen Mom fans collectively groan earlier today, it’s because of Jenelle Evans. The franchise’s most villainous alum took to Instagram to update her followers on what her younger children, Kaiser Griffith and Ensley Eason, are up to this school year. She dropped a bombshell, informing her followers that while she’s dealing with complex regional pain syndrome, her children are using a homeschooling program to further their education. She claims overzealous critics have made it a requirement for her youngsters.
Jenelle Evans Reveals She’s Homeschooling Her Two Younger Children
Jenelle Evans is letting the world in on her plans for her children’s education following the family’s move to Florida. She took to Instagram to reveal that both Kaiser and Ensley would be homeschooled this year for various reasons. Evans claims that her children have been the subject of bullying by their peers and adults because of her own notoriety and their appearances on reality TV and social media, making the shift necessary.
The divisive TV personality revealed that even adults tried to drag her children into drama revolving around her and her many soulmates. Finally, she claims the decision was made because she found it difficult to drive them to and from school after being diagnosed with complex regional pain syndrome.
She is using Acellus Academy to keep her kids on track with online schooling and insists it is going well. She even claimed that her kids knock out their lessons in as little as two hours per day.
From North Carolina to Las Vegas and Florida
The Evans family’s educational history has unfolded alongside other significant changes in their lives. For much of their childhood, Kaiser and Ensley attended traditional schools in North Carolina, with a brief stopover in Tennessee. In 2024, that all changed. Evans pulled her children from school amid her separation drama because she said she believed their school was not safe.
The family later left North Carolina and moved to Las Vegas. They were enrolled in an in-person school for the 2024–2025 school year, though reports that year raised questions about their attendance. Things wer quieter the following year. The elementary-aged children finished the 2025–2026 school year in Las Vegas before they picked up and moved again.
Jenelle, along with her two younger children and ex-husband, David Eason, packed up in May and moved to Florida, where the family is now stationed. Eason appears to be out of the picture once again, but there is no telling how long that will last. For now, Evans and her two younger children are staying put in Florida. They are focusing on at least one year of homeschooling.
What’s Going On With Jace Evans?
Jace Evans, now 17, is not part of Evans’ latest homeschooling effort. While the teen has bounced around from house to house and from mental health facility to mental health facility, he has officially landed back in his grandmother’s care.
He updated fans on his whereabouts earlier this month, noting that his grandmother was doing well and that he was focused on doing what he needed to do to prepare for life as an adult. He made it clear that he was back in North Carolina and would be staying there for a while. It is unclear exactly where he is attending school. The upload made it seem like he is enrolled and focused on making moves toward graduating.
Following Jace’s update, Jenelle took to social media to claim that the decision had been a collective one. She said the decision involved the teen, Barbara Evans, and Jenelle. Fans were skeptical that the decision was made by Jenelle in Jace’s best interest. Rather, they think Jenelle placed Jace with Barbara because she was back together with David Eason at the time.
