Jennifer Aniston continues to glow at 56. And fans are eager to know how the Friends actress maintains her radiant, age-defying skin. Aniston credits her timeless complexion to a mix of clean living and smart skincare choices rather than quick fixes. She has spoken about prioritizing hydration and daily SPF as part of her maintenance regimen, while using high-quality serums to keep her skin firm. Recently, she revealed her daily secret weapon — and I tried it. Here’s what Aniston uses and whether it lives up to the hype.

Jennifer Aniston Might Be Dating, but Marriage Probably Isn’t in the Cards

Jennifer Aniston is one of the most notable actresses today, and fans can’t get over just how great she looks at 56. Instead of prioritizing invasive treatments, Aniston allowed Harper’s Bazaar UK to take a look inside her beauty bag.

Aniston revealed that she doesn’t go anywhere without lip balm. Then, she showed her favorite sunscreen, which she also always has in her bag.

“Oh, and my sunscreen!” she said while holding up a bottle of IMAGE Skincare’s DAILY PREVENTION advanced smartblend mineral moisturizer SPF 75. “This is a tinted 75 SPF — I just recently got turned on to this. It’s so creamy and smooth, and it’s really light coverage.” Aniston noted that the sunscreen doesn’t feel “zinc-y” or give off a white cast once applied. “And it’s really good!”

She also carries around products from her hair line, LolaVie. She revealed that she had LolaVie’s dry shampoo, hair paste, and hair oil in her bag to help maintain her signature look. As for makeup, she carries around Charlotte Tilbury eyeliner and a heated eyelash curler.

Aniston went on to explain her beauty philosophy. “Whatever works,” she said. “If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.” And she continues to take advice from friends and makeup artists about what she should try.

I tried the Daily Prevention Advanced Smartblend Mineral Moisturizer — and it’s worth the hype

I tried Jennifer Aniston’s favorite sunscreen, IMAGE Skincare’s DAILY PREVENTION advanced smartblend mineral moisturizer SPF 75. As someone with sensitive skin, I (like Aniston) am also a stickler for my everyday routines, and I don’t stray from the products I know that I love. However, I was intrigued by IMAGE Skincare’s formula.

The product contains ectoin to protect against free radicals, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate to fight signs of aging, micro-algae as an antioxidant, and acetyl zingerone as an antioxidant with anti-pollution properties. According to the website, the product uses proprietary, patent-pending XOSM™ Technology to “enhance the power of antioxidants ectoin, vitamin C, and astaxanthin-rich micro-algae to deliver comprehensive nourishment and an added line of defense against premature skin aging.”

The high SPF was particularly appealing to me, as was the skin tint. I worried that the tint might look off with my skin tone, but it blended seamlessly, adding a hint of bronze. As someone with redness, it was nice to have a moisturizer/SPF combo that seemed to do the work of a primer. It also felt moisturizing without being greasy — and the traditional sunscreen smell was nonexistent. I put foundation on top of the product, and it looked natural.

The price point and the packaging were the only drawbacks. At $72 per bottle, I want to ensure I can get all of the product out. But the pump may make this difficult when only a few drops remain. Several of the brand’s other products come in a smaller squeeze bottle, which I likely would have preferred.

Jennifer Aniston says aging is a ‘mindset’

Jennifer Aniston has products she loves. However, she believes aging gracefully also has to do with a person’s mindset.

“And I think as far as aging gracefully, I have an eternal fountain of optimism and positivity,” she told Glamour in September 2025. “Call it youth if you want. But I think it all starts with how we love our bodies and love where we are. I’m not going to say I don’t get the facials and the lasers and all that good stuff. I mean, I’m maintained. I’m not going to just go down and let these gray hairs take over. So it’s perspective, and also knowing that this is our one body. It’s a mindset.”
