A source told GLOBE that Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have been offered a unique opportunity. The best friends and production company partners allegedly received an offer for a podcast deal. The podcast could allegedly help Artists Equity and also give Affleck a new platform to share his thoughts and feelings.

“A weekly show from Matt and Ben would be a cheap way to crank up cash flow and create a direct line to their fans like never before,” an insider told the publication. “Everybody who knows Matt and Ben knows they have a pretty incredible story to tell, and they can correct misconceptions about themselves while they’re at it.”

Unfortunately, Jennifer Lopez allegedly fears Affleck having access to such a platform. While Affleck remains quite private regarding his personal life, the source says her “greatest fear” is that Affleck will spill “uncensored details of their relationship.”

“When they were together, the topic of a possible tell-all came up a few times, and Ben reassured her that he’d never do a cheesy kiss-and-tell type story,” the insider continued. “But that was then, and J.Lo knows that money talks.”

Additionally, the source alleged that Affleck feels “fed up” by “false narratives” surrounding him and Lopez. “Even now, he’s relentlessly grilled about what went wrong and why he chose to get back with her,” they added. “It would be the ultimate betrayal from her perspective, and the fact that he seems to be considering it has caused a lot of angst as she sweats over how it will play out.”

Ben Affleck had a tough time navigating his divorce from Jennifer Lopez in the public eye. “Ben feels like he’s been weighed down this year,” an insider told OK! Magazine. “He will always care for Jen, but he knows the marriage is done, and he wants to focus on himself right now.”

Thankfully, he had his best friend, Matt Damon, on his side. Another source noted that Damon was “so supportive” of Affleck and gave the actor a much-needed “distraction.”

“Matt has been so supportive throughout this ordeal,” the source close to Affleck told the publication. “Matt’s a great distraction, and he makes Ben laugh.”

Jennifer Lopez took the stage in Pontevedra on July 8 for the launch of her Up All Night Tour. And she surprised fans with a deeply personal piano ballad titled “Wreckage of You.” The song, performed live for the first time, was introduced as something she wrote during a sleepless night. It immediately distinguished itself from her high-energy pop tracks by diving into raw vulnerability.

Unlike her 2024 album, This Is Me… Now, which celebrated the rekindling of her love with Ben Affleck, “Wreckage of You” confronts the end of their marriage head-on. Lyrics such as “Thank you for the scars you left on my heart,” “I won’t fall apart because of … your broken parts,” and “Now watch me climb out of the wreckage of you” convey a journey from heartbreak to empowerment, according to The Sun.

Lopez has confirmed the song emerged from her separation and divorce. It reflects not just personal grief but a hard-won resilience. She described in interviews how the split “almost took [her] out for good,” yet also became a turning point that led to greater inner strength.
