Jennifer Lopez Felt ‘Humiliated’ and ‘Ashamed’ After Ex-Husband’s Diddy Allegations Resurfaced
Jennifer Lopez entered into a relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs shortly after her marriage to Ojani Noa ended. Noa accused Lopez of cheating on him with Combs. He recently opened up about an encounter he had with Combs. Lopez reportedly felt embarrassed by him bringing up her connection with the disgraced mogul.

Lopez and Noa married in 1997 after meeting at the Miami restaurant where he worked. In 1998, they ended their marriage. Noa accused her of cheating before they ended things.
“She cheated on me with Diddy,” he recently told the US Sun. “I confronted him and told him I wasn’t scared of him.”
Despite this, Noa said he remained friends with Lopez. During an off-period in her relationship with Combs, he reportedly showed up at a birthday party she was hosting. Noa said he had to step in to protect his ex-wife.
“He turned up to her assistant’s birthday party in Los Angeles — which Jennifer had thrown for her — and everyone was shocked,” he said. “I went over to him and told him to leave and he told me to back off. He asked me who I was, to which I replied, ‘F*** you’. I told him he had slept with my wife. Jennifer got in between us. She said he would leave but he didn’t. I got upset with her and at the end of the night she got in his car and left.”

Lopez is reportedly not happy that Noa has brought up her relationship with Combs. She does not like to reflect on their relationship after his legal trouble.
“J. Lo is very sensitive when it comes to Diddy. His name is totally off limits and everyone in her world knows better than to bring him up,” a source told InTouch Weekly. “So the fact Ojani is out there dredging up these old stories and shining a light on that very unfortunate part of her history is infuriating and deeply triggering.”
They added that Lopez regrets her relationship with him.
“Truth is, J. Lo’s ashamed she ever dated him and this just underlines to her what terrible judgment she showed at the time,” they said.
Lopez reportedly feels embarrassed that she has become the “poster-child” for failed relationships after her fourth divorce.
“It’s been one gigantic disappointment after another her whole life and whenever she’s picking herself up and ready to try again there’s someone – in this case her first husband – putting the boot in and essentially reminding everyone what a giant failure she is,” said the source. “She’s so sick of it and wondering if all the bad luck and embarrassment will ever end.”

Lopez dated Diddy from 1999 to 2001. They were both at high points in their careers, which Lopez said helped their relationship.
“One of the great things about being with who I’m with right now is that he and I do understand each other’s business,” Lopez told W Magazine in 2000. “We’ve both separately built something from nothing. So he is my equal in that sense. It’s hard for me, or any woman in this business, to find somebody who understands what makes me tick.”
Despite this, their relationship ultimately ended poorly.
