Purchased in May 2023 for about $60.8 million, the 38,000-square-foot compound, featuring 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, an indoor sports complex, guest penthouse, and a 12-car garage, initially went on sale in July 2024 for $68 million. Despite cutting the price to $59.5 million in May 2025, the property failed to attract a buyer. Real estate sources say the decision to delist the home was a mutual, strategic move.

Now, a source says Affleck wants to lower the asking price again to $60 million. But Lopez says no.

“She’s furious and is taking this very personally,” an insider told RadarOnline. “Of course, she can afford to take a loss on it, but it’s not really about the money for her; it’s the principle of it. J.Lo has poured so much time and energy into the renovations and doesn’t see why she has to take a loss just because Ben is in a hurry to get this over with.”

The insider noted that Affleck and many others believe Lopez doesn’t want to sever “this final tie that binds them.” However, a source told People in the past that Lopez was willing to lower the asking price. Even with a reduced price, the mansion failed to attract.

“They lowered the price to get more interest, and when this didn’t happen, they were advised to take it off the market,” the source alleged. “It was a business decision that they made together.”
