Jennifer Lopez dazzled on the red carpet in a cream-colored Roberto Cavalli gown. The dress featured a plunging neckline and vibrant floral print, complete with a sheer, flowing skirt. Styled with a sleek center-part hairstyle and a statement Bvlgari Tuboga choker, Lopez’s look exuded both sophistication and modern glamour.

Kris Jenner, equally charismatic, joined the festivities alongside partner Corey Gamble, contributing her influential presence to a night brimming with Hollywood luminaries. Together with Lopez, they stood out as two of the evening’s most prominent VIPs. Additionally, Jenner’s appearance with Gamble shut down rumors that the couple may split.

Another notable couple at the gala was Ashley Olsen and her husband, Louis Eisner. The actor-turned-fashion designer and her husband stepped out with Louis’ mother, Lisa Eisner. Elizabeth Olsen also attended and posed for a photo with her older sister.

Jennifer Lopez and Kris Jenner’s awkward photo sparked conversation amongst fans

A photo posted to Reddit shows Jennifer Lopez and Kris Jenner standing side by side. Lopez’s face is set in a half-smile as she holds her clutch in front of her body with one arm, the other arm draped by her side. While Kris Jenner is several inches to her left, Jenner places her hand on Lopez’s back as they pose. Jenner is dressed in a classy black suit, which she paired with statement earrings and a black bag.

Fans on Reddit noticed that Lopez appeared “scared” and uncomfortable in the photo. While Jenner is wearing a genuine smile on her face, neither woman looks like they anticipated coming together for the photo op.

“So funny,” a fan commented. “J.Lo looks like she doesn’t want to be next to her.”

“J.Lo looks like she does not want to be there,” another fan wrote.

“Yeah, this smells transactional all the way through,” yet another fan commented. “Nothing authentic about this.”

Jennifer Lopez and the Kardashian-Jenners go way back, despite the awkward photo

While some fans think Jennifer Lopez and Kris Jenner didn’t want to be around each other at the YES 25th Anniversary Gala, we can’t forget Lopez’s history with the Kardashian-Jenner family. Lopez has long shared a warm and enduring friendship with the Kardashian-Jenner clan, especially with Kim Kardashian. Their bond dates back more than 15 years, with Alex Rodriguez telling People that Kim is “almost like a mentee of Jennifer,” noting that they’ve since “gone back and forth” as mutual supporters.

Aside from Lopez’s close relationship with Kim, she also offered Khloé Kardashian a role in her film, This Is Me … Now. However, Khloé didn’t accept the role.

“People are scared to put themselves out there,” Lopez said in light of Khloé turning down her request, according to Variety. “I get it. It took me a long time. I’m scared. But I don’t act like I’m scared — that’s the secret to my whole f***ing career.”
