‘Jersey Shore’ Star Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola Says ‘I Do’ to Justin May: Report
Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola is officially a Mrs.
The Jersey Shore Family Vacation star has said “I do” to her fiancé Justin May, TMZ reports. The couple went public with their romance in November 2021. He popped the question in March 2024.
“The easiest question I’ve ever answered.. happiest & luckiest girl in the world. I’ll love you forever and then some … Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you,” Sammi, 38, wrote in her engagement announcement.

MTV’s cameras were there to capture Sammi and Justin’s big day. The wedding took place at the Park Chateau Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey. The luxurious venue has also hosted wedding for RHONJ’s Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas and School of Rock cast members Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli. It’s also where fellow Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick held her 2019 wedding to now-ex-husband Chris Larangeira.
Most of the Jersey Shore cast was reportedly there to help Sammi celebrate, though it’s not clear if her ex Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was in attendance.
The ‘Jersey Shore’ couple became parents earlier this year
Sammi and Justin welcomed their first child, a boy named Vincent Keith May, in August 2025. The pair became parents after struggling for years with infertility, an experience that Sammi opened up about on Jersey Shore Family Vacation.
“After this very long journey to get here, words cannot describe how blessed and truly grateful we are. Forever living in our baby love bubble until further notice,” Sammi wrote on Instagram when announcing her little one’s arrival.
Sammi and Justin haven’t officially confirmed that they’ve tied the knot. But fans knew a wedding was on the horizon. Her bridal shower happened in early November, with Jenni “Jwoww” Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Angelina Pivarnick, and Lauren Sorrentino all in attendance.
“So much fun celebrating the beautiful Samantha, lots of laughs and cheers,” Lauren wrote on Instagram.
And in late October, Sammi thanked her sisters for planning her bachelorette party, which had a “Last Toast on the Coast” theme.
“It was truly one for the books. Memories I’ll never forget,” she wrote.
Jersey Shore Family Vacation Season 8 aired earlier this year. MTV has not confirmed that the show will return for season 9. But if cameras were filming Sammi’s wedding, that suggests we’ll likely be seeing more episodes in 2026.
