This isn’t the end for the Jersey Shore fam. 

On Wednesday, MTV announced that the final season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation would premiere Thursday, May 7. The show’s conclusion marks the end of an era for the network and for the show’s stars, including Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, who have have been reality TV staples since the first season of Jersey Shore premiered in 2009. But even though their time at MTV is over, the cast is assuring fans that they have big things in the works for the future.

Jersey Shore Family Vacation’s 18-episode farewell season will be a “a full‑circle final chapter” as “the roommates take viewers on one last unforgettable ride,” MTV promises. “For longtime fans, the final episodes offer both nostalgia and new memories — a tribute to the friendships, inside jokes, iconic moments, and cultural imprint that only the Shore can deliver.”

Highlights of the upcoming season include “a full emotional roller coaster” courtesy of Angelina Pivarnick, the return of Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Farley’s 40th birthday celebration, and The Situation’s 10-year “soberversary.”

But even though Jersey Shore Family Vacation is wrapping up its run at MTV, the stars are reassuring fans that they aren’t stepping out of the spotlight. In a video shared on Instagram, the cast explained that they are already working on the next step for their post-MTV careers.

“Legends don’t retire — they reroute,” Snooki captioned the post. “The network changed. The legacy didn’t. Jersey Shore is forever. Just wait until you see what’s next.” 

“Final? Who said anything about final?” says Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio in the video, which also features Deena Cortese, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, and Pivarnick.  

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro adds that Jersey Shore is “evolving,” while Farley says that “MTV’s changing, but we’re not.”

“I promise you, the story will continue,” Sorrentino declares. 

“You know this is just intermission, right?” says Vinny Guadagnino. 

“We love you so much,” Snooki says. “You guys are ride or die and we cannot wait to make more messy episodes and seasons for you guys.”

The final season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation premieres Thursday, May 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Stream past seasons of Jersey Shore and Jersey Shore Family Vacation on Paramount+ and Pluto TV.
