JLo Beauty has made a name for itself by combining celebrity allure with skincare science. The latest addition, That Spotlight Silhouette Firming Neck Serum, is generating buzz for its promise to tighten and smooth the often-overlooked neck area. Formulated with a blend of bioengineered growth factors, peptides, and marine actives, the serum is designed to target sagging skin, improve elasticity, and leave the neck looking more lifted and radiant.

So, how does the serum work its magic? The product’s formula contains a Cellular Renewal Bio-Ferment Complex that supports the skin’s natural renewal cycle. Additionally, it contains a Red Algae + Sodium Hyaluronate Complex to retain moisture. A biomimetic neuropeptide then works hard to ease skin tension, leaving the neck looking youthful.

If skin enthusiasts are looking for a lightweight moisturizer that feels as if it’s stimulating the skin for hours after application, then yes, the serum is worth it. The product glided easily on my neck, making it easy to gently massage into the skin. The skin on my neck was left feeling supple and soft after the first application. As a skincare enthusiast myself, I could easily see it becoming a mainstay in my routine.

Additionally, Lopez herself utilizes the product. She released a video on YouTube on Jan. 5, 2025, explaining how she’s been using the serum since the formula was in development. Lopez noted that her neck has appeared more taut since using the product.

That said, the product isn’t cheap. That Spotlight Silhouette Firming Neck Serum comes in two sizes: a 30-day 15mL bottle, and a 90-day 50mL bottle priced at $69. The gold packaging makes the serum appear luxurious. However, the pump dispenser leaves me feeling like I can’t quite get all of the product out of the bottle. This makes the near-$70 price tag feel even steeper.

Overall, those who love luxury skincare will want to give this one a try. I’m not sure that it will offer miracle results (even with long-term use). However, its pleasant, clean smell and rich finish might be reason enough to purchase it. And it’s no secret that our necks often don’t get the love they deserve.

While That Spotlight Silhouette Firming Neck Serum may seem on the pricy side for those used to drugstore prices, Jennifer Lopez works hard to offer luxury ingredients at a reasonable cost.
