Jordyn Woods Is ‘a Lot Less Emotional’ Than Karl-Anthony Towns Who Is in Disbelief That He Has Such a ‘Stunning Woman’
Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods stepped on the red carpet together and posed for the cameras just before sports‘ biggest night got underway at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City.
The couple coordinated with high-fashion and diamond accessories. Woods wore an Oscar de la Renta sleeveless bugle bead fringe gown made to look like cascading gold chains with Christian Louboutin Rosa Z 100 laminated lamb nappa leather sandals and a yellow-and-white diamond collar necklace from Bucherer Fine Jewellery. KAT, meanwhile, rocked a tailored black Gucci tuxedo paired with a Tiffany’s Paris Flames Brooch.
Now, an expert is weighing in on their red carpet moment and talked about how Woods isn’t as “emotional” as her fiancé, who is very proud to be standing beside her.
Inbaal Honigman is a body language expert. She has appeared in the media for more than two decades, offering her expertise for Big Brother’s Little Brother, Elle Magazine, and talkSPORT radio, to name a few.
Speaking on behalf of Casino.org, Honigman told Showbiz Cheat Sheet exclusively, “Towns smiles like the cat that got the cream. His jutting chin reveals how proud he is, almost disbelieving that he’s got such a stunning lady on his arm. Towns beams, all his teeth gleaming with joy and self-satisfaction, as he leans towards his lovely fiancée.
“This lean indicates how dependent he is on her love and support. She’s a lot less emotional, maintaining a perfectly curated photo face, focusing on her look and not on her man. But they can’t hide the angle of their feet, which lets us know how aligned and in love they are.”
The expert added, “Woods and Towns face each other at a small angle, their toes nearly touching. The triangle shape formed by their feet is the clearest indication that those two are living their own version of heaven on Earth. Their mirroring feet show that they naturally start to resemble each other’s moves and poses.”
The NBA star and the model began dating in 2020, but they started out as friends first and bonded over their grief of losing a parent at a young age. Woods’ father, John, passed away in 2017 following a cancer diagnosis, and Towns’ mother, Jacqueline Cruz-Towns, died from COVID-19 complications in 2020.
The two got engaged on Christmas Eve in 2025, and KAT found a way to include the loved ones they lost in their engagement. He proposed with a ring that features a large center emerald-cut diamond in an open basket setting, flanked by a hidden halo of smaller stones. The band is paved with smaller accent diamonds that feature a color gradient shifting from pink to white.
“There are both of my parents’ birthstones, as well as mine on one side of the band and [Towns’s and his parents’ birthstones] on the other, and it is symbolic of our family becoming one,” Woods explained, calling it her favorite thing about the ring.
