The latest season of the reality competition series kicks off Tuesday, September 15 on ABC. So far, the identity of a handful of competitors has been revealed, with a full cast announcement coming September 2 on Good Morning America. Whose names will be on list of those headed to the ballroom? Let’s break down the Dancing With the Stars Season 35 casting rumors.
Ciara Miller and others already confirmed for ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 35
Four celebrities have already been officially confirmed for the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars: Summer House star Ciara Miller; Love Island alum and Love Island USA: Aftersun host Maura Higgins; Savannah Bananas player Jackson Olson; and Guillermo Rodriguez from Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Rodriguez is paired with pro and two-time Mirrorball champion Witney Carson. Pro Sharna Burgess is also returning to DWTS for season 35, her first appearance since 2021.
Earlier this year, Higgins spoke to Good Morning America about joining the DWTS cast.
“I’m just so, so happy. I can’t wait to get really fit and wear all the sexy costumes,” she said (via People). “I just want to start now.”
‘DWTS’ Season 35 rumored cast
Who else could be sashaying into the ballroom this year? One name that has come up is Julia Stiles. The Save the Last Dance star is among this season’s DWTS competitors, Page Six reported. She’s previously opened up about being a fan of the show.
“I’ll go down YouTube rabbit holes of watching old videos, and I have my favorite choreographers,” she told People last year. “We’ve talked about me doing it, but I live in New York City, so it would be hard. Maybe they could do an East Coast version.”
Meanwhile, TMZ has said that Tatyana Ali from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is among those in the running for the Mirrorball trophy this year, along with Jenna Dewan from Step Up and Bachelor Nation star Tyler Cameron.
Connor Leavitt from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is reportedly following his wife, Season 34 contestant Whitney Leavitt, as a Dancing With the Stars cast member, E! News reported.
