“There are good vibes around Doechii’s ‘Anxiety,’ with the Hermit Tarot card,” she said. “It might not win this specific award, but there are other musical accolades on the way for this record.”
As for Album of the Year, it might be Kendrick Lamar’s year to win big.
“Kendrick Lamar with GNX gets the Magician card, which is an apt description of the musician,” Honigman said. “It’s the card of the guy who can do anything.”
“Bad Bunny with Debí Tirar Más Fotos receives the dreamy Moon card, which speaks of a long and fruitful journey,” she continued.
Honigman doesn’t believe Lady Gaga’s Mayhem will take the win. However, the future looks bright. “It’s a card of awards, cups, and statuettes; success is inevitable,” she said.
Finally, Leon Thomas received the Wheel of Fortune card with Mutt. This card shows “good luck and redemption.”
