President Donald Trump’s 18-year-old granddaughter, Kai Trump, just made waves after bringing the Secret Service with her to Erewhon, the viral (and expensive) grocery store often visited by celebrities. Erewhon features top-of-the-line health food products that the average buyer wouldn’t dare purchase due to the price. And several celebrities have collaborations with Erewhon to make the store that much more exclusive. Here’s what Kai tried and what the other celebrity collaborations are.

President Donald Trump’s granddaughter is receiving backlash due to her recent grocery store journey that she documented on YouTube. Kai Trump, the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump, headed to Erewhon to buy a bag of goods, and she brought the Secret Service with her.

“I’m gonna need to file for bankruptcy,” she said as she looked through the store’s goods. Kai then put health supplements, sushi, and other expensive items into her basket while complaining about the price. She also bought the viral Hailey Bieber smoothie for $21, as well as a $17 jar of dates.

“Guys, one thing about me is I don’t spend, like, a lot of money,” Kai told the camera. “I’m very … like, I don’t spend a lot.”

Unfortunately, the teen didn’t enjoy many of the expensive items she purchased. “I love sushi. That is the worst tuna I’ve ever tasted in my entire life,” she stated, spitting it out. “It was fishy and, like, hard …. I’m gonna throw up.” She then went on to try other items, some of which were from the hot bar. While she liked the vegan buffalo cauliflower and short rib, she noted that they weren’t worth the price.

As for the Hailey Bieber smoothie, she initially noted that it didn’t smell great. However, after trying it, she surprised herself by admitting that it was “really, really good.”

In total, Kai spent $233 on a single bag of groceries.

These celebrities have collaborations with Erewhon

Kai Trump purchased the Hailey Bieber Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie, which is certainly one of Erewhon’s best-sellers. And Bieber is far from the only celebrity to collaborate with the luxury grocer.

According to Elite Daily, Bella Hadid, The Kid Laroi, Sabrina Carpenter, Emma Chamberlain, Francesca Aiello and Matilda Djerf, Tyla, Chris Appleton, Olivia Rodrigo, Elsa Hosk, Nara Smith, Travis Scott, Sofia Richie Grainge, Kendall Jenner, Katy Perry, Winnie Harlow, Heidi Klum, and Kacey Musgraves have all had signature smoothie collaborations. Christina Aguilera, Shay Mitchell, and Lori Harvey have also created drinks for Erewhon, among others.

In addition to working with Erewhon, celebrities love to head to the grocery store for their weekly needs. Shawn Mendes has been spotted grabbing bone broth tonics, and Hilary Duff has been seen sipping on the Hailey Bieber smoothie. Tessa Thompson is also reportedly a regular at the smoothie bar. And Charlie Hunnam has been spotted grabbing healthy breakfast items, according to Enstarz.

Some huge stars have condemned Erewhon’s ‘healthy’ food alternatives

While celebrities seem to love Erewhon, others have called out the grocery store for its “healthy” products. While in conversation with The Face, Chappell Roan drank an Erewhon matcha latte. She then said, ​”And you know what? All you b****es think this is healthy, but this is just a milkshake!”

Spencer Pratt has also joked about Erewhon’s products. On X, he wrote that he was “eating fried cheese balls from Erewhon pretending I’m healthy and fit.”

Reneé Rapp also noted the pricey products in the grocery store, once stating in an interview that she “works solely so I can go to Erewhon.”

And, of course, Kai Trump’s criticism of some of the pricey food products doesn’t go unnoticed.
