Kanye West Allegedly Supports North West’s Instagram Account
North West, the eldest daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye “Ye” West, marked a notable milestone. At just 12 years old, she has her own Instagram account. Celebrity kids joining social platforms often sparks debate. However, North’s Instagram arrival appears to be carefully managed, aligning with Kardashian’s past statements about setting boundaries and prioritizing her children’s safety online. So, what does Ye think of his eldest daughter’s new social media presence? A source claims that he supports her.
Kanye ‘Ye’ West allegedly supports North West’s new Instagram account
North West officially launched her own Instagram account in December 2025, marking a fresh chapter in her online presence. Her debut post, shared on Dec. 19, featured a slightly blurry snapshot of herself flashing peace signs, which she captioned “first post.” Since then, North has added a second playful photo with her bright blue hair peeking out from under a hat. And she’s showcased bold fashion choices, including long blue hair and diamond-encrusted “shark” grillz.
Kanye “Ye” West hasn’t publicly commented on his daughter’s new social media presence. However, according to TMZ, he no longer takes issue with North’s online accounts. An insider told the news outlet that Ye supports North’s Instagram and loves how she can share her unique artistry, including her fashion, with the world.
The sources also told TMZ that Ye has been working on himself toward the end of 2025. He reportedly spent time with Kardashian and their kids over Christmas in 2025. The exes are now working on co-parenting their four kids and remain cordial.
Kanye ‘Ye’ West previously said he didn’t want his kids on TikTok without his permission
Before North West had her own Instagram account, she shared a TikTok account with her mom, Kim Kardashian. North frequently posts clips on TikTok to show off her life, style, and friends. In 2022, Kanye “Ye” West commented on his children having a social media presence while speaking to Hollywood Unlock’s Jason Lee. He made it known that he doesn’t support his kids being online. Additionally, he mentioned how Kardashian’s security team stopped him from entering her home.
“My daughter wanted me to go inside. I was like, I am the richest Black man and North’s father, right, and the security was able to stop me from going into the room with my daughter, and that had not been defined,” Ye said, according to Entertainment Tonight.
He also noted that Kardashian’s boyfriend at the time, Pete Davidson, was inside the home.
“And I am hearing that the new boyfriend is actually in the house that I can’t even go to,” he continued. “And that’s where I call my cousins. And my cousins is real opinionated, you know that. And I said, ‘I need you to go and say these two things.’ Security ain’t going to be in between me and my children, and my children ain’t going to be on TikTok without my permission.”
North West recently posted a photo with Bianca Censori
In late December 2025, North West posted a subtle confirmation that she saw Kanye “Ye” West and her stepmother, Bianca Censori, for Christmas. She posted a screenshot of herself and Censori FaceTiming with rapper Babyxsosa to her Instagram Stories. While North didn’t make it a permanent post on her feed, it certainly captured fan attention, as she rarely posts photos or videos with Censori.
All in all, fans were happy to see North with her stepmother, as they seem to have a great relationship.
