Kanye ‘Ye’ West Had Ex-Employee Investigate Bianca Censori and Kardashian Family, Court Docs State
Kanye “Ye” West is back in the media — and this time, he’s fighting an ex-employee who made explosive claims. According to the anonymous ex-employee, West had him investigate the Kardashians and Bianca Censori. West now wants the “irrelevant claims” thrown out and the anonymous employee to reveal their identity. Here’s what to know.

In October 2024, an anonymous ex-employee filed a lawsuit against Kanye “Ye” West. West allegedly hired him in 2022 to serve as Deputy Campaign Director. Later, West switched the employee’s role to Director of Intelligence for Yeezy and allegedly had him conduct “various investigations, including those involving attorneys and parties” that sued West, according to In Touch Weekly. The initial lawsuit alleged that the ex-employee experienced emotional distress and retaliation while working for the rapper.
The ex-employee said he and West thought of how to keep West in the news cycle in 2023. West allegedly wanted him to investigate the Kardashians to find “supposed various criminal links Ye believed they had with criminal enterprises, including alleged sex trafficking.” West also wanted the employee to hire private investigators to “tail” West’s wife, Bianca Censori, when she traveled to visit her family in Australia by herself.
In May 2025, West demanded that these claims get thrown out as “irrelevant.” He also wants the ex-employee to reveal their identity.
“The complaint alleges serious misconduct, including threats, retaliation, and violations of labor laws and child protection statutes — yet [the ex-employee’s] identity is shielded from scrutiny without legal justification,” West’s lawyer argued. “There is no basis on the face of the complaint to justify anonymity under governing law.”
