Kanye ‘Ye’ West Reveals He Became ‘The Villain’ Because of Kim Kardashian 1 Day Before Psalm’s Birthday
In 2025, Kanye “Ye” West and Kim Kardashian’s co-parenting dynamic has taken a contentious turn, igniting speculation about a potential custody battle. The tension escalated when Ye released a song featuring their daughter, North West, without Kardashian’s consent, breaching their joint custody agreement. This unilateral decision has allegedly prompted Kardashian to consider seeking sole legal custody to protect their children’s well-being. In May 2025, Ye fired more shots by releasing a song that revealed how he became “the villain” because of Kardashian’s ways. Here’s what’s happening just a day before Psalm West’s birthday.
Kanye ‘Ye’ West claims he became ‘the villain’ in a new song after Kim Kardashian kept their 4 kids away from him
Kanye “Ye” West isn’t afraid to go after Kim Kardashian online. He previously alleged that Kardashian won’t let him see his kids: North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5.
“I HAVE TO SUPPRESS THE FACT THAT MY KIDS HAVE BEEN TAKEN FROM ME AND EVERYONE JUST WATCHES,” he wrote on X.
In May 2025, he released a song titled “Heil Hitler (Hooligan Version).” In the lyrics, he raps, “With all of my money and fame I still don’t get to see my children … So I became a Nazi, yeah b****, I’m the villain.”
Not only does the song call out Kardashian, but it also glorifies Nazi ideology and antisemitism. Ye continues to take to X to share antisemitic sentiments, which fans have condemned. Despite the outrage, the rapper keeps pushing the envelope and falling out of favor with the entertainment world.
The song is making its rounds just a day before Psalm West’s birthday
Kim Kardashian will undoubtedly have a birthday bash for Psalm West. Psalm turns 6 on May 9, 2025. It’s unclear if Kanye “Ye” West will participate or be invited to birthday celebrations for his youngest son. West is currently in Mallorca, Spain, with his wife, Bianca Censori. It’s unclear if Kardashian has plans to allow her kids to travel overseas to see their father. However, given Ye’s unhinged X posts, it seems likely that the reality star wants to keep her kids safe from his antics.
Previously on X, West alleged that he doesn’t want to “just ‘see'” his kids — he “needs to raise them.”
“I DONT WANT TO JUST ‘SEE’ MY KIDS. I NEED TO RAISE THEM [sic],” he wrote in a now-deleted X post. “I NEED TO HAVE SAY SO OF WEAR THEY GO TO SCHOOL AND WHO THEIR FRIENDS ARE AND WHOS HOUSES THEY SLEEP OVER WEATHER MY DAUGHTERS WEAR LIPSTICK AND PERFUME [sic].”
Out of all of his children, Ye appears to have the closest relationship with his eldest daughter, North. While North has seen her father more recently, she is not currently in Spain with him and Censori. Instead, she helped her mother prepare for the Met Gala in New York in early May.
Will Kim Kardashian go for full custody?
It’s unclear if Kim Kardashian plans on going for full custody of her and Kanye “Ye” West’s kids. Some sources claim Kardashian has already spoken to lawyers regarding the possibility. Others claim she won’t fight Ye for custody because of all of the dirt and insider knowledge that Ye has on the Kardashian family.
A source recently told The U.S. Sun that Ye has his own “fears” regarding Kardashian filing for full custody.
“He would never want to lose custody of the kids,” a source said. “The fear is Kim may go for full custody; even though she’s been very keen to keep things cordial in recent years, a lot has changed recently, and she has to protect them. If he does go nuclear with Kim, I don’t think he’ll ever come back from that.”
