The Kardashians Are Paying an Astronomical Amount to Stay at Luxury Hotel for Jeff Bezos’ Wedding
Love, luxury, and a splash of star power are converging in Venice this June. Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez prepare to say “I do” in one of the most extravagant weddings of the year. From a restored open-air theater on a romantic Venetian island to after-parties aboard Bezos’s $500 million megayacht, the couple’s celebration promises opulence at every turn. With a guest list rumored to include the likes of Kim Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey, and Leonardo DiCaprio, this is no ordinary union. And the Kardashians are set to pay big bucks to stay at a luxury hotel.
The Kardashians are spending big bucks to stay at a luxury hotel for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding
Jeff Bezos, the billionaire founder of Amazon, and Lauren Sánchez, an Emmy-winning journalist and former news anchor, made headlines in May 2023 when they announced their engagement. Their high-profile relationship began as an affair and led to Bezos’ divorce from MacKenzie Scott. Bezos and Sánchez’s romance, often played out on red carpets and aboard Bezos’ lavish megayacht, has now led to one of the most anticipated celebrity weddings of 2025. Set to take place from June 24 to June 26 in the heart of Venice, Italy, the wedding promises a luxurious celebration and an A-list guest list.
According to The U.S. Sun, the happy couple booked rooms in a five-star hotel in Venice for their nuptials. The Grand Canal Suite at the Aman Venice goes for $11,600 per night. A source explained that other high-profile guests, like the Kardashians, also plan to stay at the luxury hotel.
“Jeff and Lauren have booked the Grand Canal Suite, the biggest they have, and it’s the talk of the hotel,” the source told the publication. “The room is spectacular and even has access to a rooftop terrace overlooking the city. The wedding is set to be a huge affair, and the Kardashians are also said to be staying at the hotel, along with other high-profile guests.”
It’s unclear when Bezos and Sánchez plan to stay in the 1,044-square-foot luxury suite. They might stay before or after they tie the knot.
It’s also unclear what rooms the Kardashians booked. But they will still pay big bucks (that is, unless Bezos foots the bill). The cheapest possible room at the Aman Venice goes for $1,500 per night. And the average weekend price will cost the reality stars around $4,000 per night. Because Bezos and Sánchez are tying the knot during peak season, the prices will be even higher.
Kim Kardashian allegedly ‘loves’ Lauren Sánchez
It seems Kim Kardashian’s friendship with Lauren Sánchez is likely the reason that the Kardashians received an invite to Sánchez and Jeff Bezos’ Venice wedding. Sánchez and Kardashian have spent vacations together and are often seen chatting at events. A source told DailyMail.com that the two high-profile women get along famously.
“Kim loves Lauren because she has zero snobbery; she is a totally down-to-earth girl’s girl who never tries to overshadow Kim and is always quick with a compliment,” the source alleged. “Kim likes that Lauren never tries to compete with her. Lauren does not want to be a reality TV star or actress or makeup mogul. She is fine with being Lauren Sánchez as she is.”
The insider added that Kardashian loves how well-connected Sánchez is. Additionally, Kris Jenner “loves loves loves” Sánchez “because they have a lot in common: They think big. They are super tight. Lauren passed a lot of ideas by Kris because she respects her. It’s a mutual admiration society.”
The happy couple allegedly plans to tie the knot in an outdoor theater
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez kept many of their wedding plans under wraps. However, a source told The U.S. Sun that the happy couple plans to tie the knot at an outdoor theater on an island in Venice.
“The word is that they have booked the theater which has been restored,” the source alleged. “It’s not your usual venue for a wedding; it would be iconic. Everyone is talking about the wedding, and it’s going to be a huge celebration.”
The publication noted that in addition to Aman Venice, the Belmond Hotel Cipriani, the St. Regis Venice, and the Gritti Palace are all nearly full for the end of June 2025. It seems likely that Bezos and Sánchez’s A-listers are taking over Italy.
