Kelly Dodd Calls Her Revenge Porn Charge an ‘Absolute Joke’
Prosecutors charged former Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd with engaging in revenge porn. She faces three misdemeanor charges and could potentially serve jail time. Dodd has denied the charges and pleaded not guilty during a court appearance. She said that the charges are a joke.

Dodd faces charges of “unlawfully and intentionally” distributing sexual images and footage of a woman. She allegedly captured the footage without the woman’s consent, causing emotional distress. She also reportedly agreed to keep the images private and threatened the woman and her family.
In a court appearance, Dodd denied any wrongdoing. She reportedly feels confident that the case will be dismissed. Dodd said she finds the entire case ridiculous.
“It’s an absolute joke that prosecutors are pursuing this case instead of going after real criminals with real victims,” she told TMZ. “We can’t go into detail on the case because of this afternoon’s court appearance.”
She said that the description of the revenge porn was “completely false.”
“We have no idea where they came up with that,” she said. “This is a complete waste of the court’s time and we will tell the entire story tonight, including sharing text messages and other receipts.”
Dodd later said that she thinks one of her family members is behind the charges.
