As rock legend and Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne wrapped up his farewell tour with his original bandmates, his daughter, Kelly Osbourne, also made headlines for her surprise engagement backstage.

During the group’s final show at Villa Park in Birmingham, England, on July 5, musician Sid Wilson of Slipknot, who Kelly has been dating since 2022, proposed with a gorgeous sparkler that is even more impressive than the one from her ex-fiancé, Matthew Mosshart.

Now, the diamond experts at the U.K. jeweler Steven Stone are taking a closer look at Kelly’s new rock and comparing the engagement rings.

Maxwell Stone told Showbiz Cheat Sheet: “Sid proposed with a custom-designed 18k yellow gold ring from Mouawad, thoughtfully crafted to reflect his affectionate nickname for Kelly: ‘Honeybee.’ The ring features a harmonious blend of white and yellow diamonds, accented with radiant citrine — a gemstone long associated with joy, abundance, and the warmth of the sun.

“At its heart lies a breathtaking 2.5 carat round brilliant cut diamond, a symbol of eternity and enduring love. The circular shape, with no beginning or end, mirrors the unbroken bond the couple share — a love as brilliant and infinite as the diamond itself.”

Stone added: “I’d estimate Kelly’s ring to be worth around $100,000. In terms of design, it’s far more intricate and striking than her previous engagement ring from Matthew Mosshart, which showcased a single round brilliant diamond in a simple bezel setting.”
