The Duggar family and the Caldwell family are officially feuding as yet another sex abuse scandal rocks the once-wholesome reality TV family. In a recent upload, an associate of both families has confirmed that Paul and Christina Caldwell, Kendra Caldwell’s parents, have moved out of the home they were living in. From the sounds of it Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell sent them packing. The insider claims water and power were cut to the residence in an effort to speed the family’s exit.

A Duggar associate claims the Caldwells are being retaliated against

An associate of the Duggar and Caldwell families is speaking out about the Caldwells’ sudden need to move. Amy Paul, who appears to be connected to the families via their religious social circles, took to Instagram to lambast the Duggar family, including Joseph Duggar, after she drove from her home to Arkansas to help the Caldwells pack up.

In a scathing Instagram post, Paul claimed the Caldwells were given only a short time to gather their belongings and vacate the home they were living in. She goes on to allege that the water and power in the home had been turned off to hasten the move. In the upload, Paul implies that sudden actions were retaliatory. She went on to lambast not only Joseph Duggar but his parents and siblings. She criticized the supersized family for failing to help the Caldwells move thier things from the property.

As we previously reported, Paul and Christina Caldwell launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for a move and for legal fees. The couple claimed they were being “displaced.” While the original campaign was removed from the platform, they returned with a renewed effort, raising nearly $30,000. The Caldwells have been living in a house owned by Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell since 2021. Previously, they were living in a home owned by Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. It is unclear if they were paying rent or were living in the homes free of charge.

Why have the Caldwells been asked to vacate the premises?

It is unclear exactly why the Duggars wanted the Caldwells to get out of their house as quickly as possible, but jailhouse calls make it pretty clear that this may have been a growing issue even before Joseph Duggar’s arrest for child molestation. In one call, Kendra, who is Paul and Christina Caldwell’s eldest daughter, told her jailbird husband that her parents would be out of the house within 30 days. Coldly, she said there were people who were going to make sure they actually left “this time.” The statement suggests that perhaps there had been previous conversations.

Kendra and Joseph also briefly discussed preparing some of their properties for rental and selling assets, including cars. The couple appeared very worried about securing income for Kendra should Joseph be convicted and sentenced to a long stint behind bars. It is unclear if that’s the only reason they kicked the Caldwells to the curb, though. While the sex crimes arrest is a pressing issue, it sounds like the problems could be longstanding.

Joseph is facing decades behind bars for lewd and lascivious behavior with a minor under 12. The charges stem from a 2020 incident in Florida involving an unnamed female victim who was 9. The arrest took place in Tontitown, Arkansas, on March 18. Joseph is currently out on a $600,000 bond. His father, Jim Bob Duggar, flew to Florida to bail out the wayward 31-year-old earlier this month. Kendra Caldwell was arrested in March, as well. The charges were unrelated to the Florida incident. Kendra is due back in court this month. Joseph Duggar will return to Florida for a hearing later this month, too.

This is a developing story.
